I stopped buying from eBay when they failed to remove all the sellers listing their businesses in the UK but shipping from China.

Yes, as already mentioned twice!

Why shop around when you can pay £100+ per year to get the second best deals. Amazon are incredibly smart and HUKD has fallen for their tactic hook, line and sinker.
Every prime deal on a generic item that gets posted to HUKD is cheaper elsewhere but it gets upvoted because HUKD doesn't count prime as a "cost".
Tempted to get this to recreate my amazon Vikings addiction!

Nobody with any sense 'pays' for Prime. They use consecutive free trials.
What's the fuss over tax avoidance? It's only hospital beds
must resist. But would go with my Spear & Jackson axe I got here last time
Should be included in the special edition of The Walking Dead

I happily pay for it. Delivery is not the only thing that prime is used for. Everything else on would be very inconvenient having to swap accounts every month. Prime music on echo, or unlimited photo storage etc
Thanks - bought 4 for various locations around the house and also one to keep under the seat of my car for protection.

Nice as it looks, my last Am-Tech hand axe bent - the LAST thing you want while chopping your way through the Zombie Apocalypse on the way to Tesco.

I agree -many times the prime option is more expensive than the non-prime supplier, so you end up paying twice for prime delivery!

Spot on. Any 'deal' which is only available by paying a subscription fee gets a cols vote from me. Costco is another example.
Amazon all the way for me. Worth paying extra for next day and even Sunday delivery's sometimes. Amazon's customer service is exemplary in my opinion too. But each to their own.

Jeez, where do you live.
has anybody checked to see if it's cheaper on eBay?
OK what realistic use would anyone have for these? I'm struggling to see one, its not going to be great for chopping wood. Its novelty man cave value at best as far as I can see.

Seriously though can anyone give a convincing reason?

I need some way to explain to the Mrs why I have bought a axe

You're absolutely right. That's why Amazon introduced FRESH and NOW.
When the Zombie Apocalypse is just too irksome in your area they'll send out adequately suited-up heavies with chainsaws to make sure that you don't run out of those must-have grocery items.

Amazon fully deserve their mind-boggling market capitalisation. They had long been aware of the impending inundation and had contingency plans in place.
With the election of Little Orange Hands, they immediately saw the tweeting on the wall and stepped-up the protection of those who matter most.
They're welcome to my Prime subscription twice over.
