The notify and fitness app for the amazfit bip is worth paying for due to the very extended range of options it gives For example gpx export, direct link to strava etc etc.
Notify and fitness for Android.
No need for GPX export, there being no GPS on this version.

The normal Bip is rated for it's long lasting FDSOI GPS chip.
Does this have media playback control?

No. Basic notifications, alarms and tracking. Great battery though!
Loved this while I had it, great battery and comfort. Unfortunately my one had the issue where the glue holding the screen was lacking, so the screen eventually did separate from the body. Voting hot though as this price is the cheapest I've seen it.

My Bit lite has GPS. Maybe I have the non-lite version, pretty sure I don't though.

Would you be able to help me identify which Lite definitely has GPS? I’m after one of these, really want to pay around the £40 mark, and would like GPS

Will say GPS im the spec. Usually it is 'International', not 'Global'. Should be about £4 more in the same store.
Even if you do not want GPS, the GPS one will be the one that holds its value.
Sorry did read the product description but couldn't work it out , can I use this with strava?

If it does not have gps it cannot track distances only presumably steps or somesuch so the answer is almost certainly no.
Fairly decent watch. Works pretty well with iOS. Don't be fooled by the screen size. That's only the glass. The actual screen behind it is about 25% smaller. Don't expect a great screen resolution, it's a similar display to the old Pebble. Great battery though, can last over a month with general use.

Its £42.03 by clicking the one to the right from Ali. This deal should be cold!

Got one of these a while back, battery life is anywhere between 30 - 40 days. Downsides are the resolution, as someone mentioned very much like the old pebble style interface, but it tells the time, gives you an indicator of amount of steps, and can link to your phone and receive whatsapp/email message alerts, there are also some good watch interfaces out there so you can customise.
This watch does not have direct sync with Strava by the way. You can get your activities on to Strava but its quite confusing, whether you're on android or ios.

I found customisable faces massively decrease the battery life (12 days instead of around 35).
What does this do that the Mi Band 4 can't?

Never used TomTop before...same as all the rest yeah?
I have one of these with the GPS. When I bought it, it had the 1 month battery life and I was astounded! A year or so later and the battery lasts around 10 days.
I have used it every day and even been swimming in it with no problems.
The only reason I don't use it now is that my SO bought me a fitbit versa for my birthday.

Pros of the Bip
Long battery life
Water resistant
Always on e-ink display
Price
Notifications from lots of apps with ability to reject phone calls and read messages as they come in.

Cons
Compatability with apps
Poor sleep tracking

Basically for the price it's awesome!

What constitutes customisable? I installed a non-standard watch face that I liked from an app, and I still get 25 days+. Does it depend how much data the face shows and how frequently it updates?

Had mine over 18 months now, still looks good as new and holds battery life.

Only thing I did was replace the rubber strap with a fabric one as it gave me a rash. Fortunately it's a standard watch strap fixing.

I must have just picked a bad option in the face app. I've stuck to a standard on and I get 35+ days easily.

Funnily enough, I got a rash from the original strap too. I don't think the cheap rubber is good for the skin when you're wearing it 24/7.
Same for me, a rash. For that reason I stopped sleeping with it on.
Paid £65 for this about a month ago, worth every penny.

One negative is the vibration moter is a little week for waking me up straight away

Depends on the face - a second hand or counter brings it down. I use a custom face without seconds and without weather and get 40+ days.

Where is that watch face from?
38968352-2dPZM.jpg38968352-Zn99u.jpgThat's my face when its illuminated and when its off. I get 30+ days battery life easily. I love it when I get my text and messages on it so I don't need to get out my phone. It also vibrates when you get a call. The only drawback with this one is its not water proof, but that was not a deal breaker for me.
Worked great with my Samsung phone for the last few months , but now no notifications, tried everything to no avail
