What is my page ?
Just bought the honor magic watch. Great watch but doesn't connect to strava. Shame I didn't wait a few weeks
Had this for over two years, still going strong! Love it.
Can I change the region to uk

Sorry, just when I'm logged into Ali express, unsure if everyone sees same vouchers... I just meant on mine I see vouchers
Prices on this have shot up in the last week.

I was considering it at £65 from box.co.uk. Now it is £75.

The Amazfit app has had a good recent update whereby you can export your gpx data and so upload directly to Strava. I have the Bip. The Pace has wifi and data pins on the USB so this is likely a non-issue for Pace buyers.

I cane my 30day battery on a long run. Something to consider when buying this with a 5-10day battery. I would hope that the GPS is more accurate given it isn't so tight with battery, the GPS chips are the same, so it is just a case of sampling more often. Not willing to risk £75 (price here, or there with customs) for no improvement in GPS. My opinion is the accuracy is limited being on the wrist, but would be happy to see the Pace yielding more samples, with, perhaps a GPX file.

Any Pace owners?

Don't think there is any difference mate. I clicked through from my purchase which is why I saw it was a good price... I believe this is the one I have and don't see anything region specific o. It

I had a bio first which I thought was great, they do look and feel a bit cheap though.
This had onboard music so I don't need to take my phone out anymore which was the killer feature for me to but.
GPS I actually found the bip better for picki g up signal, however I have now learned that starting the GPS search in the house is the problem, if I start when outside it is fine. It is definitely a few meters different to the Bip per km on the same route but I'm no pro so I don't know which is more accurate.

It's a great watch and I don't see much that makes me. Want to upgrade. I like the Stratos but it is huge and I like the idea of the TicWatch as it is WearOS I think.
This would be ideal for me with a Spotify app and NFC

The band? Band won't have music on board and very unlikely to have GPS imo given it would cannibalise the watch market

So this for sure will be better than mi band 5... .. If there is a new watch coming have u got any links?

Need the whole paragraph:

you can export your gpx data

I know I don't have GPS in the house; the issue is built up areas and sample rate. You need more samples when darting between trees to stand a chance of it getting a lock in the short time you are visible to the sky. If you want to run under the blazing sun, I guess it won't matter.

You can see these sample points when you analyse your runs. I'm often marked as a few metres away from the actual path I took, it doesn't much affect speed and distance (in the long run at least). You can miss segments, but who cares?

It was the "pace has WiFi and data pins" part I didn't follow. I just updated given your comment and saw the gpx export, not sure if I will make use of it but good to know if I fancy a play

You said wait for the mi 5 or this... Do you mean the mi band 5?
If you do then my previous comments hold. The band won't have inbuilt music and unlikely to have GPS so you need to take your phone with you.
With this I just go out for a run with watch and wireless ear buds

Nope don't need your phone that's why I think it is such a good deal compared to some of the others in this price bracket.
It has 4gb( I think 4) on board so can take 100 tracks or thereabouts....you just link to USB and copy them over

I don't know, but have u logged in, it says United kingdom on mine and I'd be surprised that Ali express would know to exclude. NI. But if you are seeing price in GBP then you may be out of luck.
As a posted said above they were available at Box for. 65 which I recall seeing and thought was a good deal, they have gone up to 75 but keep. An eye on the website

The music player is, shall we say, "limited".

The order is fixed and not what you might expect.

Pumping out RF constantly with 44kHz modulation is sure to be a battery killer.

You can get it for £60 with customs handled for you at eglobalcentraluk, if I won't be banned for mentioning it.

Ha ha, you have done your homework. I was wondering how the hell do I move between albums... You can't, however I discovered that they play in the order copied to them.

I can skip back and forth on the headphones so it does the trick for me.

I find battery lasts well, charge every 4 days on average just to top it up from 25pc and do 5km run most days.

This or the new Bip S?

This by miles
Edited by: "mgk" 30th May
Over, I think the Easter, or some special, extended weekend, recently, I had it in my basket at under £50. I think people on hukd reported it in the low £40's! It is old tech, but watches haven't advanced in tech so much as software. I digress.

I had too many questions before spending that dough. My Bip is fine. Only problem is GPS tracking tends to wander. I've just no way of seeing anyone's GPS tracks who has the Pace. Strava records both the Bip and the Pace as "Amazfit Pace", I wonder if everything Amazfit will be recorded so.

If I didn't have the Bip I would get this, but Bip is a better starter watch if you don't want to be too invested in recharging.

@mgk would it compromise your privacy so much to post an excerpt of a run, map beside satellite so we can see how it copes with tree cover and/or built up areas (if you aren't fortunate enough to get tree cover)? I run a 700m track, roughly square, sometimes it can move the path inward 20%, just looks like I'm cutting corners.

Having the same sequence would be horrible. It's the surprise of getting something new that keeps me going out. There are 3rd party apps I hear.

You have 2Gb available. Average mp3 size of 6Mb, 300 tracks, just, maybe more if you compress.

There is also some confusion about the screen being always on, transflective (low power drain, good in sun) or LCD. I don't believe LCD and always on would work well, but I believe always on is optional. I would miss that compared to the Bip.

No worries, what. Do you need me to send?
I find it pretty good. But I did the Bip tbh,
I agree it is quite old, I have had for about a year and it wasn't new, however for money I still think it is better than a few more recent ones verge GT2 etc some don't have music

40925548-A7xtZ.jpgnot sure this helps. If u zoom right in you can see that sometimes the path can be 4-5 m away from. Where u ran, but I think that is true for all GPS - it is just the accuracy of GPS isn't it.. Accurate to 10-20m. It does pick up even small deviations I make if eg take a wrong turn and dou me back. The Bip did to though to be fair

I have bought 4 watches off this seller 1 x Bip, 2 of these Pace's and a Stratos and all no customs what you need to do is leave a message to the seller on the order form asking him if he would mark with a value of $16 to help with customs
Love my watch although hate the strap. Don't know why I've never replaced it though.

Just looked up GPS is supposed to be accurate within 4.9m, I would say that my watch is about in line with that.. Some parts it is bang on where I ran some up to 5m off

My phone is bang on to about a metre. Likewise with the track I run I see leaderboard people are bang on with their Garmin Forerunners (so nothing to do with wrist, unless they used phone for heartrate and phone for GPS).

{quote}
GPS receivers released in 2018 that use the L5 band can have much higher accuracy, pinpointing to within 30 centimeters or 11.8 inches.
{quote}

But it was more the sampling rate I was interested in. For serious money and charging responsibility, the Forerunner 35 has been on here for £70 before.

Quite helpful. Would you be able to zoom in on an area where there is good vegetation cover? Seems my phone has the juice to see through this but wouldn't rate anything's chances around tall buildings.

Despite being fit, I have the heart of a 50 yo apparently, I need to get a chest monitor. Then I will use the watch just for pace.
