Can you elaborate on the "amazing" part of your description?

Same price at argos and amazon!

Great tv for the money, ideal for playrooms etc. Not exactly a deal as this was on with AO and Amazon when I purchased earlier in the year for £299.

For around the same price, can you recommend a better TV? Not being sarcastic there, just asking the question as I was after a 4K TV of decent quality for under £450

Seeing as it was previously £30 less, and is currently the same price at Argos and Amazon, I would suggest the word "reasonable".

Good for you it suits your needs though.

Oh so it's the price itself that you don't think is that special as it's the same price at other retailers. Fair enough. Do you know of any better options though at this sort of price range? I guess there may be better deals to come over the next couple of weeks as well considering the time of year.

I posted a 4k hisense 43" TV 6 months ago at Amazon and that went ice cold at £299. Would have thought coming up to Christmas and black Friday there would be at least similar deals. At £329 nothing special.

You, me, and a whole army are waiting on a deal to bite in the coming 10 days or so.

I'm hoping on an oled taking an unexpected big drop, but if not, then a 10 bit and non RGBW. Having said all of that, if a great deal came about I'd probably jump on it.

Yeah I'm holding out as well. Seen a few okay deals but I'm not going to bite just yet.

I've heard the HDR on a cheaper model isn't true HDR and is HDR 8+... or something like that. For someone that just has a HD Panasonic TV now and needs it simply for a PS4 Pro in a games room and the occasional film, how much do you need to worry about the picture quality? If I'm only putting down around £400, is that enough to get a decent 4K TV with basic HDR and notice the difference between what I have now?

50" for 379 argos;)

This is the 5500 not the 5300 that Argos have on special, I think the difference is HDR, this has it and from what I can see the 5300 doesn’t or at least Argos doesn’t make a song and dance about it having it!

Yes i was trying to work out the differences

Has anyone seen the code on the Argos site? I emailed JL and they won’t match it as the code is not on the site from what they can see!
