They are reduced in price to voted hot. However you really need to try headphones yourself, imo they're much more personal than loudspeakers

Should show USED in the description

Yes I totally agree but Philips headphones are very musical and dynamic.
Suitable for many ears ;).
I have got X2 & S2.

Done.

I previously bought from Warehousedeals:
Synology NAS (used - good), it was perfect, still with protection tape.
2 x WD Red 3tb (used - very good), sealed, no scratches.

cheers

I think it's illegal to sell phones which have actually been used by someone. Cex don't (for instance) because of the risk of infection (I think)

I bought reconditioned headphones once (saved big), the technical team assured me the ear pads had been swapped for new ones..

I bet they gonna be like new.

You won't find these headphones for £90, even in so so condition on eBay.
It's a bargain!

Comfort level?Sounds leakage?

I bet they are comfortable. I can report back soon.
They are semi-open so there is a sound leakage (not for office use etc).

That's a very good price for the L2.

I bought a pair shortly after release but didn't really get on with them. Others love them though and sound / comfort is very much a subjective thing so the following impressions aren't intended as criticisms. Really just highlighting the importance of auditioning headphones....or buying from somewhere with a good returns policy(e.g. Amazon)!

I had two issues with them:

- I found them quite edgy and fatiguing to listen to. From memory of the frequency response charts there is a spike around the 2-3k mark (I and that seems to be an area my ears are particularly sensitive.

- comfort was also a bit lacking for me. The headband is a solid piece of metal with little in the way of padding and tends to only make contact with the crown of the head. This created a bit of a pressure spot which meant they became quite uncomfortable after 20-30 mins use.

I've also owned the X1s in the past and don't feel they sound all that alike. The X1's were quite musical with a slightly warm and 'fun' sound sig (comfy too) whereas to my ears the L2 are a bit more neutral. Whilst I didn't find them dark they did feel a tad 'sombre' in their presentation.

As yoghurtlidlicker says being semi-open they do leak a fair bit and let in quite a bit of external noise. Definitely better suited to quiter environments rather than commuting / office use.

If they come up at that price again then they are definitely worth a punt (just not my cuppa)

Thanks for your input JF53!
I got them on my head at the moment. Listening to Jakob 'Sines'.
I have got ATH-M50X and HD800. I really enjoy sparkly hights and neutral sound signature.
To me L2 is better headphone than M50X (I still love them for their bass).
You are absolutely right about X1, they are warm and fun but L2 are detailed and their soundstage is ace!
I'm a big headed dude, comfort is not an issue for me. I'd like user changeable ear pads though...
For £90.23 it's a keeper!!!!

Has this expired already? I can't see them for £90 anywhere on link?
