A decent 16:9 pull down projector screen for the money. Had mine for 6 months or so and is really good. Picture quality is clearer and far brighter than the painted wall I used to project on to. Smooth pull down motion, and you can have it set partially down too (I park it about 6" up from maximum travel).
Mine did have a very slight ripple when first installed (apparently common on non tension screens), left it up for a day and it disappeared.

Makes movie nights pretty epic, prefer to watch a film on this than my OLED.

On phone so can't post a pic yet.

It's an lg pf1000u, Amazon warehouse deal last prime day. Only drawback as screen is in the conservatory is I need to wait till sun has set before viewing. Great in winter, less so in summer.
I ordered a 4k Xiaomi laser projector literally last night, I plan to spend tomorrow researching on the screen. Surely I need to spend more than this?

If you have an area where you can fit a permanent screen, go for that. AV forums will be able to recommend a wallet emptying brand.

If you need something that can hide away, again the top end screens probably slightly more reflective, less prone to ripple etc. Whether you'd notice the difference between a £70 and a £500 screen, I don't know. Going from a freshly painted white emulsion wall to this though is a huge difference.

Yeah you can get canvas ones for pennies, but you'd need someway of mounting them and when stored away, keeping it flat so it doesn't crease. It's ruined once that happens

Look like a good one short throw makes it simple and neat.
Thinking I made a mistake going oled maybe one day a can justify having both but I can see me not using the oled much I mainly watch films.

What's the blacks like do you get a blooming effect like with cheap led TVs I like the black bars to black not grey looking

How much for?
I tried similar looking screens (130 inch) from various 3rd party sellers, all of which had horizontal creases (ripples) in them. They cost a little more than amazon basics one. I tried amazon basic not expecting much, but to my surprise - no creases at all and very good quality. Unlike other screens i tried this one slowly retracts (takes about 30 seconds), whereas the others had no 'brake' mechanism to slow it. Also this hasn't started to tear along the bottom pole unlike one of the others i tried. It might just have been 4th time lucky, but personally I'm more than happy with mine.

I had a screen for years but I hated the creases that it developed. I just painted the wall gray and it is perfect. Plus, with the BENQ W2000, it increases the black density.

If you have the money you want an ALR screen. That's what I'd get if I had the money.

Back in stock now. Been a couple of projector deals today so this might help
Is this 100" diagonally?
When it's in stock that is?
Ridiculous Amazon pricing again.
120" came into stock at £70 so I ordered it but I wanted the 100" for the space restrictions ideally.
As soon as I ordered the 120" screen the 100" came back into stock at £79.99.
I messaged Amazon querying why the 120" was £9.99 cheaper than the 100" and told him I'd prefer the 100" screen.
He gave me a £10 credit so I ordered the 100" for £69.99.
Cancelled the 120" but they've repriced that at £102.
