With the 3ds xl blue going for £85, dream team and mario golf going for £10 each on a lightning deal at the moment, this is a great deal!

Yeah, just bought MB: DT myself. Mario for £10? Bargain.
Bargain! Well done on the find!

It's more of a repost as it's been this price for the past month but it's a great deal as I bought it a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely love it. Zelda is excellent for the 3DS
I'm assuming this is the older model, in which case its about right, usually 1 game for £100 so the extra game makes it a slightly better deal
Is the screen of this the same size as the existing 3ds? So smaller then the XL?

This is the original XL model which has the same size screen as the New XL model.

The NEW 3DS XL has the same size screen as the 'old' 3DS XL. The NEW 3DS has a larger screen than the 'old' 3DS but it's smaller than the XL. This deal is for an 'old' 3DS XL so your original question didn't make sense.

Just to be clear, screen-wise: New 3DS XL & Old 3DS XL (same size) > New 3DS (smaller) > Old 3DS (smallest)

Re screen size (and obviously this is a matter of opinion) but having owned every version of the 3DS and played them all extensively, I find the New 3DS (non-XL) to have the best size. The 3D effect on it works like dream. It's the only version I use.
Arghh...silver candycane

I nearly threw my phone out the window, I can't cope with any more white or silve candy canes!!!
Be aware that Nintendo are sneakily discounting stock of the 3DS XL as it is currently being replaced by the 'New 3DS XL'. Some future games may not be compatible with the old model and the new one has several very good improvements. Still a good deal though.

"Currently being replaced?"

The New 3DS XL has been available at retail in Europe since February 13th 2015.
True it does offer improved 3D viewing angles, more buttons, and stronger processing power. It can also play Xenoblade Chronicles 3D and The Binding of Issac (alongside the New 3DS) whereas the older models cannot. A few games such as Monster Hunter 4 may display improved textures too,

Other than that it's no different. It has the same screen size as the standard 3DS XL and has the same battery life. Other than the exclusives listed above it can play exactly the same games.

I've got a New 3DS XL because I wanted the better buttons and improved 3D, however, I wouldn't say the extra cost was worth it. The New 3DS XL is in excess of £150 whereas this deal is for a lot less with 2 decent games.
Mario forever xx
Hot hot hot:)
