This machine will be garbage and won't last more than a couple of years at most. To make a good espresso you need a machine that can accurately and consistently regulate brew time, temp and ratio. This machine will do none. Disposable junk
Got the Logik one from Currys that was posted month or so back. For £20 that has been super good. Don't see a point of this refurbed one.
£26.09 with code FUN10 Wonder if this is better milk-frothing than the one I got from freecycle recently :/ (edited)
Anyone recommend a decent coffee filter machine? Saw a few Melitta ones. Does anyone have any experience/thoughts to share? Thanks
Another vote for the Melitta Look Therm. Don't have one, after realising it won't fit in my kitchen, but that's the one I'd decided on after doing some research.
If you want something more high-end, I've heard good things about the the Sage Precision Brewer. sageappliances.com/uk/…UK1
The important thing is, you don't want a hot-plate to keep the coffee warm. (edited)
You can almost hear James Hoffman‘s blood boil at this
Here he is pulling faces at a £299 machine
I'm in the market for an espresso machine, but a refurbished Amazon basics espresso machine... No thanks.
Fine I'll buy it.
The government should be taxing this future landfill filler at 300%. What a waste of everything.
A sugar cube should make light work of removing that horrible Basics logo from the front
Magic Erasers are great for these sort of things too!
Nice deal! Offered £27.99 and was rejected. Offered £28.50 was auto-accepted.
Try something in between, lol.
EDIT: Hmm, there's a large amount of 1* reviews on Amazon for this one all around July. Apparently there was a batch with faulty pumps and Amazon sold them at a huge discount. What's the chances these are from that batch? Guess I'll find out when it arrives, lol. (edited)
Have you found out if yours is one of the faulty ones? I hope not 😃
