Amazon Basics 52mm UV filter £4.97 Circular Polarising filters from £7.86 - Student Prime 15% off
£4.97Amazon Deals
This may polarise opinion (fnarr-fnarr), but Amazon Student Prime has 15% off lens filters if you are interested.
UV filters start at £4.97 fpr 52mm and Circular Polarising filters start at an absurdly cheap £7.86 for 52mm after discount.
Good reviews in general!
Sizes include (for both UV and CP):
52mm
58mm
62mm
67mm
72mm
77mm
82mm
So good coverage for most lenses, though some smaller sizes aren't there for those who have M43 systems.
I know there's some lack of love for Student Prime accounts, but this is a really decent deal if you're after some lens protection.

If it gives you colour casts and doesn't reduce glare and flare, it can be 1p and still be a waste of money.
Yes all available to see in existing reviews, as are numerous positive opinions also.
Hardly a waste of money for a UV filter.
Great reason to vote cold!
I think so! Prime is a very clever commercial con trick which locks you in to Amazon at YOUR cost! I'll give you the student bit but assume it means I can't buy at this price if I'm not a student?
Prime is more than delivery.4k video, music, Twitch etc...as a student qualifying account (I do accountancy CPD) it's £40 a year. Great value, as we consume all offered media types in our house.
You don't get the benefit. Sorry to hear that. Plenty of people disagree judging by the heat generated (though modest in fairness). It's your prerogative of course
For me personally Amazon Prime is one of those services that provides benefit for its fee.
I use the music streaming, TV service, next day delivery, prime event discounts, photo storage. So a lot for £80 per year. For others it is a waste.
My 200-500mm front element is too close to the front for my liking.
I was also hoping for some smaller filters too, as I have M43 lenses that are quite small - including the Olympus 17mm pancake prime that takes 37mm filters, but not a killer! the 12-40 2.8 Pro takes 62mm which is covered here at least.
