I like getting beans like any other. I don't mind even if they were roasted up to 6 months ago... But it really annoys me if they don't state when it was roasted as they could have been roasted 3 years ago.

Anyone that got these. Is there a roasted by date?

It's only a bargain IF you are intending or wanting to spend another £20 on goods from Amazon.

no but the beans i got happy belly had a 12 months expiry date.very unusual from amazon was sure they would be short dated.

If 12 month left it could have been roasted 2 years ago. I've seen bags with both dates with a 3 year difference

Tha ks for answering

I didn't have a happy belly after this.

Lavazza oro. (gold). On offer in Sainsburys.. 3quid for 250g.

Very comparable only 23p more. And nectar card points. Etc..

^ nope, this is 2 x 500g, so 1kg for 5.77.

The Lavazza would be £12/kg. Although arguably better beans/roast, that's quite a difference in price.

Exactly.
Havent had the Columbia version of Happy Belly but had a couple of others and they are quite nice.

The Amazon Solmino beans that are currently £10 ish for 2 kg, I wouldn't bother with again - even though you get used to them after a few cups.

Anyone concerned about roasting dates is looking at a product not suitable for them - 6 quid a kilo is industrialised beans packed to last a long time
Bought a new coffee machine as I want to make flat whites Can any1 recommend beans and a place to buy from Ty in advance
