Aldi sell good coffee for about £1.10 for 227g. It's cheaper than this and tastes better than this.

Avoid like the plague
I bought some happy belly Dolce gusto capsules last year and no lie they tasted of ash tray 🤢🤮
Use doubles instead of singles and it's quite nice tbf

any good?

Have ordered. First delivery on 15 May.
I tried this once. Was not impressed at all. I think they take the cheapest of the cheap beans and roast them until there is almost nothing left taste wise.

You would be better spending your cash on some instant coffee.

It's 2 quid for the good coffee in aldi

I got this deal the other week, its alright for a decent quick pot on lock down. As for making my belly happy, I'm a morning person so haven't really noticed the difference

+1. I use a aeropress and the pink java packet is a winner for me
It'll be down to personal taste. I'm currently drinking this and it's fine for me. I normally drink Lavazza or Taylors etc and I think this is similar. It's less 'gritty' if that's any help.

Arabica/robusta blend.Cheap for a reason.

Lavazza is 40% Arabica, 60% Robusta and is preferred by many.
Awful coffee. Taylor’s Italian ground or Sainsbury’s Italian for us.
I use this stuff in aero press and I think it tastes nice.

I drink it too, not too bad, prefer Taylor's but can't fault it

The filters in a cafetière are made of a wire mesh and almost indestructible.
If my cafetière glass breaks I use a stainless steel funnel with a paper kitchen towel to make filter coffee. As an interim measure, until you find the replacement part this is a good method.
