i'm off to Meadowhall on the train tomorrow, i will pop in to poundland.
when i have done all of my shopping i will convert the cost of the train ticket to the cost of my items.
I will let you know how i get on

14/06/2011
i bought 11 items and my train ticket cost me £8.40 so 76p per item. if i had bought the egg timer that would have been 12 items so 70p per item making the total cost from the poundshop £1.70.
the FULL PRICE train fare was £13 so that would have been £1.08 per item which would make AMAZON cheaper.

thats all folks and thanks for the comments

Because its cheaper and its just info for anyone else who can get to a poundland, which is pretty much everyone, i dont think you would DRIVE there just for an egg timer but if you were going shopping anyway you could pop in. No hardship, this is a deals website so occasionally people do tend to find cheaper alternatives and sometimes voice there findings through the medium of posting a reply

Been in poundland and 99p shop for ages, cold.

Or £1 from Poundland.

Really? Let me just grab my time machine (_;)

I did hear these were available in Poundland. But do check before you drive all the way there

have some heat, I got this from poundland, it does what it says on the packet.
I hope no one will jump in their car and race into town to their nearest Poundland to get one of these because with petrol and parking the option to buy from Amazon Markerplace is a no brainer.
Fine if you are in town anyway and passing Poundland

This is crazy the fact is it is cheaper from pound shop the fact its causing an argument is silly
