Or buy 2 for £69 each? Missed that one Chanch!
Use £20 off £150
You're getting the extra one for £49 effectively so I'd buy the second even if i didn't need it at that price!!

No thanks!

I was like you once...
I tested the waters with the dot when they had 3 for £75 glitch recently.
I had no idea what I was doing when I took it out of the box and configured it. I wondered what on Earth I would use it for until tried:

Alexa what time is it?
'The time is 10:12am'
Neat I thought..

Alexa what's the weather like today?
"It's going to be couldy with a chance of rain"
Oh right, that's good to know.

That's my first experience of it while I was cooking and cleaning on the kitchen. I continued asking it to do things like set a timer for my cooking, play me some music and it did both really well! The wife even uses it! :O

Now I use Alexa daily to play music when I wake up, set timers, give me the best news roundup ever! Turn on and off lamps that are in an awkward location and to give me silly facts and information that pops into my head when I think of it.

I can even ask to listen to Radio 4 or any other station and it plays out through the internet. Perfect for having when you're doing some painting.

I love how I can just get on with things and talk to it rather than having to dig my phone out all the time.

I'd borrow a dot from someone or just buy a cheap one that you could always flog on eBay so you haven't lost anything if for some reason you don't like it.

Amazing! Bought 2 echos and a echo dot! 😁
Heat added, just snagged 2 of these for £124.20 with the £40 off, then £20 voucher, then staff discount.

Was just about to pull the trigger ONE of these on the Argos offer, till I saw this and ended up buying TWO!!

Thanks cracking deal
I got two echo and two dots for £186. Will be keeping one echo and the two dots and will sell the other echo locally when offer ends/out of stock.

Don't think I'll be beating £93 for an echo and a dot anytime soon.

Great find, thank you.

Cancelled my order when I saw your post and reordered the 2 echo's with a dot, many thanks magicow
Thanks Chanchi:-))

Great deal...two for £138.00....

Two ECHO = £198.00
Automatic £40 off for ordering two...and use code TDX-WFTW (£20 OFF £150)

Fantastic...struggle to get a better price on echo's if that is what you are after.....£69 each:-))
2 Echos for £138 is an excellent deal. I bought 3 dots and it's annoying that my bluetooth speaker that's connected to one dot goes into sleep mode. I've used an old Logitech PC 2.1 setup above kitchen cupboards to overcome that issue, but sound from up high is not perfect. I can't substantiate this deal, but hot from me.

Hey Alexa, please monitor all I say and pass it onto the authorities.
Has Tesco removed the double discount now?
Half way through order and only £20 off for £150 spend !!!!! Deal finished !!!!!!
Yes double discount gone, not like them to get a glitch fixed so quick, really strange.
Seems like Tesco have removed the £40 discount for buying 2xecho just as I had them in the basket
It showed the price for me as £138 just above the box for card my details - when I've purchased it shows I've paid £178. I'm going to call them first thing tomorrow as surely they can't change the price while I'm in the middle of putting card details in when they've sold it me as £138?
It's coming to £198.00 now offers gone
Deal finished 😩
My order went through then just before it got fixed, so not bad
They will can cancel all the double discount orders, they have got only one mission now make money stuff the customers.
I only wanted it to sell it online so not really that much of a miss for me but could've been £200 richer
These are just tumbling in price
Spoke to Tesco Direct first thing this morning as I purchased 2 for £138 but it took £178 out of my bank and shown £178 on receipt. They advised because I had purchased it at the exact time the promotion was taken down, they will refund £40 to my card. Thanks for a great deal OP and other commenters.
Dammit.

So hopefully those of us who got in before they removed the other discounts will get their orders honoured. Potential happy days.
