Use £20 off £150
You're getting the extra one for £49 effectively so I'd buy the second even if i didn't need it at that price!!
I was like you once...
I tested the waters with the dot when they had 3 for £75 glitch recently.
I had no idea what I was doing when I took it out of the box and configured it. I wondered what on Earth I would use it for until tried:
Alexa what time is it?
'The time is 10:12am'
Neat I thought..
Alexa what's the weather like today?
"It's going to be couldy with a chance of rain"
Oh right, that's good to know.
That's my first experience of it while I was cooking and cleaning on the kitchen. I continued asking it to do things like set a timer for my cooking, play me some music and it did both really well! The wife even uses it! :O
Now I use Alexa daily to play music when I wake up, set timers, give me the best news roundup ever! Turn on and off lamps that are in an awkward location and to give me silly facts and information that pops into my head when I think of it.
I can even ask to listen to Radio 4 or any other station and it plays out through the internet. Perfect for having when you're doing some painting.
I love how I can just get on with things and talk to it rather than having to dig my phone out all the time.
I'd borrow a dot from someone or just buy a cheap one that you could always flog on eBay so you haven't lost anything if for some reason you don't like it.

Was just about to pull the trigger ONE of these on the Argos offer, till I saw this and ended up buying TWO!!
Cheers Chanchi32 and EscortBoy
Don't think I'll be beating £93 for an echo and a dot anytime soon.
Great find, thank you.
Funny old thing as I did exactly the same and was about to post it until I noticed you'd beat me to it. Great minds and all that....
Cheers OP for making us aware of a stonking deal. Much heat
When you buy 2 echo's, you get £40 off. Also, use the code to save a further £20 off when spending over £150. 2 echo's = £138
Cancelled my order when I saw your post and reordered the 2 echo's with a dot, many thanks magicow
Great deal...two for £138.00....
Two ECHO = £198.00
Automatic £40 off for ordering two...and use code TDX-WFTW (£20 OFF £150)
Fantastic...struggle to get a better price on echo's if that is what you are after.....£69 each:-))
Isnt it £10 back in vouchers?
So hopefully those of us who got in before they removed the other discounts will get their orders honoured. Potential happy days.
