Amazon Echo Dot (2nd Generation), Black + Logitech Harmony Hub bundle deal. Also eligible for the TP-Link Smart plug for £9.99 deal.

Harmony hub on its own is £69.99, which means you get the Echo Dot for £19.01.

Iffy price justification, £70 for the Hub on it's own isn't a great deal, you can regularly get it with the companion remote for that. Better to say the Dot is currently £35 on offer so you're effectively getting a Hub for £55.

However, unless you really have no use for a hardware remote, you're probably better keeping your eyes open for a better Harmony and remote deal over the next week and getting a Dot separately at the best price you can find.

Aren't Logitech shutting their harmony stuff down?

They're discontinuing the functionality of the Harmony Link on March 16 2018 and giving owners a free Harmony Hub.

No, they're not.

I was thinking about buying a Harmony Elite. Still a good buy, since logitech is discontinuing them?

Oh okay, so just discontinuing their old Link service and adapting to the new era of assistants etc?

Holding out for an Elite over Black Friday. They are always on offer in Amazon sales. Bet they aren’t this time, just to spite me!

Kind of. The Link and Hub are 2 different pieces of hardware.

Not sure why this is so cold, it's a decent deal.

£69.99 is a decent saving on the Hub, they are normally £99

Pairing it with a Google home mini or echo dot removes the need for the physical remote anyway. I've got all my entertainment centre activities on voice commands now and all remote functions are easy to access on a phone or tablet using the harmony app. We have a cheap android tablet that's become the dedicated harmony remote
