Depends what you need it for. Got smart speakers in every room. I just need something cheap downstairs to control the lights and the heating. Not bothered about music, as I have a Bose downstairs anyway. I need something cheap and reliable, such as Dot2 or Input, maybe Eufy Genie, to control smart tech. For me Dot 3 or 4 will be waste of money. This is one of the cheapest solutions for what I need

Wouldn't this be cheaper if your not using it as a speaker

Yes, this is what I wanted, but at the time was £35. Was waiting for it to go down to £15, as it was in the past. In the meantime I've got a Dot3 for £16, didn't need it, but was the cheapest option. TBH, despite the fact the Input would have done the job, I think I would have gone with the Dot2 at this price, only £0.80 extra. Cheapest was Eufy Genie, £13.50 a while ago.

13.50 I missed that one I like Amazon delivery and the tracking and everything but you are right an extra 80p and you have a speaker. I'm gutted my 1st gen is broken as I could take that out the house with me
