Use code DOT3PACK

Get 3 Amazon Dots for £84.97 using the above code.
Just add 3 into your basket and use code as usual

Students can use code STUDENT10 to knock a tenner off, making it even better at £24.99 each

Works out about £31.65 each - Not bad going at all if you're after a few for around the house, or as gifts.

A pointless toy. What does it actually do? Maybe it turns on the heating. Do it yourself. Switch the lights on? Just click the switch. What's the weather doing? Look out of the window.
Sad toys for the modern housing estates.
Another pleasant valley Sunday
At this price it's worth the money as an alarm clock DAB radio alone. Radio reception is free.

eg. "Alexa....." ;

"play Radio 4"
"play Classic FM"
"sleep timer 30 minutes"
"wake me at 6:30 am"
"wake me in half an hour"
"set an alarm for 6:45 am every weekday"
"what's the time?"
or be rude and just ask "time?"

(You can obviously state any radio station or arbitrary time or time limit.)

If you read other people's comments rather than focusing on writing your own drivel, perhaps you might find out.

You probably live in a house, sleep in a bed and drive a car? Why bother, why not just live in a forest, sleep on the floor and walk wherever you need to go.

You could apply that silly statement to anything in life.

Actually works out to £28.33 each

That's what I get for rushing! Thanks!
Code is once per customer, and I'd used it before, so I'm out of luck
Someone sell it to me, what's the best thing about these?

Edit.. I wanted 3, husband only wanted 2. Winner!!!

I have the dot and the full size speaker\x0d\x0a\x0d\x0aThe smaller ones (These) are good for connecting to Amps or blue tooth soundbars.\x0d\x0a\x0d\x0aBest thing for these is asking for music albums on Prime.

"kitty" should be "30".

Watched star trek?
Ever wanted to say 'computer play jazz music' computer turn on observatory, computer turn on Aircon, computer set room to x degrees, computer turn on vacuum, computer what is XXX, computer order a playstation etc etc
Well now you can.

Can do shopping lists, calender events, order take away, taxis. If it can be turned on/off via a plug, ir or WiFi remote, you can use it with Alexa.
if you could actually set a radio station to wake you up these would be the best things ever\x0d\x0a
oh and this is as hot as you like
so what music does this play, is it just your own library of do you have to subscribe to amazon music?
Amazing. Just spent 20 minutes debating whether we should get 2 or 3, this made it easy for us!
I ordered one on the 12th june but just decided to get another, now I'm returning the original and getting 3 all for the same money... Happy days. Thanks OP

So what's the difference between the full size and the dot? Is it just the speaker on the full size? And what's your opinion on the full size?
do you need to connect the dot to a speaker to output sound or does it have its own inbuilt speaker?
Showing as £129.97 for me.
I got in 25 pound
Had ordered two of these and an Echo. Just managed to cancel the Dots and re-order three of them - thanks.
I want to buy, but don't see why get the dot
Doesn't work on prime now
I've ordered the Echo for the living room and 3 Dots for around the house.
One for the bedroom, one for the kitchen and then maybe one elsewhere or I'll give to my parents as a pressie.
Although a Bluetooth speaker is preferable for the dot, it seems good enough sound for the bedroom/small kitchen as is.

If I order 3 then return 2 would I be charged £23

I expect they just won't refund you the £35 each for the returned items. Presumably refund you so you're left paying £35 for the one you keep.
cheers for the deal. combined it with the top up deal, so thats 3 for £80, cheers

I have the full size in the bedroom (well, everything is full size in the bedroom), but joking apart, The dot really needs an external amp/soundbar I.M.H.O. whereas the full size speaker needs neither

So I have a full size in the bedroom (to save space and get good sound) but I have a dot in the kitchen (connect to a soundbar via blue tooth) and another dot in the front room connected to my 30 year old Sony Amp which gives impeccable sound via Bluetooth)

If you are a prime user, you can build up a library of Albums to listen to totally free plus play any Albums you have bought from Amazon.

Timers/Alarm/radio stations are other decent reasons to buy

What is the top up deal?
Can you get this offer if you do not have prime and have previously used the free month offer?
Thanks

I wanted one of these earlier this year and ended up paying full price as I got impatient waiting for a deal. Bought 2 more at later date (on discount) for living room and kitchen, first one in in Bedroom.

I use frequently for setting timers/alarms, listening to radio, listening to music (and ocean waves to help me sleep) and listening to Audible audio books. I think they are fantastic. Sound on their own isn't great, mine are plugged in to various speakers.
''Alexa, are you connected to the CIA?''
scary stuff...
Will this work on prime now with new account and £10 off first order. That would be a cracker of a deal
Anyone any idea when sonos and alexa jump in bed together?
Jonnyblock

In addition to what others have said, mine control my Netatmo heating, Hue lights in specific rooms/zones/house etc.. and also updates me on my flight details (easyJet commuter) and soon, my Sonos as well (beta testing starts soon I believe).

Do a Google search on "Alexa Skills" and see, it's very impressive and judging by what they get in the USA, only going to get better.
If anyone still had the buy £50 in gift card get £5 extra, along with the Amazon Platinum Card, along with no rush delivery £1 credit. You can do some real damage to the price of these.

I haven't done the maths but gotta be around £25 a pop.
CEX are paying £31 trade-in for the black Dot, so there's potential profit to be made - assuming you want to buy something else from CEX!
