Just spotted this at argos.
Their new Amazon Echo spots are on a offer if you buy 2 you save £40 but there's also a promo code
F74XZ7Q76LUJ
That saves you a additional £15 so you get 2 for £184.98 saving you £55!
Working out at £92.49 each
I've only tried this on the black one and on Fast pay but it should work other ways.
The Argos offer ends 1st April but I think the promo code end today can't confirm.

Code is working
They could sell them for £120 and would still be too expensive

Yeah I've seen others use it not sure if there's a limit though.
Great price compared to RRP. Would be tempted had I already not bought the Show and realised what a pile of doodoo that is.

I got rid of my show which I bought 2 for £159 here. It is the biggest gimmick of the decade. I sold each for £149.99 netting a cool profit of over £120. This I know is another joke. Not worth even £50 in my view
Confirmed working. Plus you get £10 off next order as well. Thanks OP.

I ended up buying 4 (using 2 accounts) so I could sell 3 of them and it was like I paid nothing for the one I kept... no idea why I kept one. I don't even use it! Thought it'd work well with Ring, it doesn't.

It can't isolate my voice so when kids are screaming I have to shout despite being less than 1m away from it. Playing Prime Videos using voice is an absolute pain. No YouTube is a huge loss. £50 probably the right price point for these.
Code no longer works.

Don't get this view at all. I too got the 2 Shows for 160 quid deal and gave one as an Xmas pressie for my son and kept one. It's basically an Echo with a rather nice screen and STEREO speakers so if you accept that 90 quid is OK for an Echo how can you possibly come to the conclusion that 50 quid is about right for a Show?

I don't accept that £90 is ok, when did I ever say that? They're all over priced.

£50 for basically a tablet with very low functionality and a budget speaker built in seems right to me.

Only thing I use it for is calling home and seeing my kids when I'm away, but even then the camera on it is on par in quality of a flagship phone from 2010.

Ah, I get it now, it's not particularly the Show that you don't believe is VFM but Echo itself. Fair enough.

PS Still think you're living in cloud cuckoo land if you only believe Show is only worth 50 quid. Incidentally, what is your idea as to what the Echo is worth? And the Dot? Just curious.

Think you may get a 'tuppence ha'penny' type response if you get one.
How's the speaker on these compare to the dot?
