Another price drop on this stuff, I bought a bag of this a couple of weeks ago on amazon for 17.99 thinking it wasn't going to get much cheaper. Oh well, hope this is of use to someone else, currently £24.98 in B&Q

Me too, so handy that site! Almost as bad as this one for costing me money! ;-)

Return it and reorder mate

Its mostly melted into my lawn now aabarcellos, resisting the temptation to order another bag for March. Must... resist......

My dog was recently diagnosed with lymphoma, and since reading up on it I was surprised to discover the increased risk associated with the use of lawn feed/weed killer.
Does anyone know if they put clear warnings about this on the packs?

This stuff is useless, tried it a few times and moss comes right back. Started to use copper sulphate spray instead and it works a treat and costs muchmuch less per treatment.

Where would you go to get copper sulphate spray? Isn't this the chemical used by Greenthumbs etc but in granular form?

£20 a tub 10kg.
Mix 500g soluble iron in 20-25 litres of water stir well. This will treat 500sqm of turf for greening up and for blackening apply to 100-125 sqm.
Local co to me supplied "Soluble Iron".
Works a treat, moss comes back a bit but the last time i sprayed was spring 11 and doing it again this week followed by scarifier (cheap Lidl product works well for me )

Thanks. I will try and find some soluble iron then.

This stuff is the best....just ensure its watered in every day for first week

The moss is there because of damp and lack of light - grass won't grow well so maybe plant a fatsia instead !!
I reckon this stuff kills/displaces worms so long term it's not good.

Wikinsons were selling this stuff at £25 last week with 75% off making it £6.25 a bag. I could only carry 2 bags so went back the next day as I look after a junior teams pitch so needed another 2 bags, but all snapped up.
Managed to treat the penalty areas and the centre circle, the favourous conditions this week have brought it up a treat, the treated areas are thick, lush green grass.
I kept popping back to Wilkinsons but nothing remains in the 75% off sale

Ordered. Should give me 1 treatment and a bit.

Thanks OP, ordered

I think I spread this a bit thickly or something because the grass ended up dying as well as the moss. I've for ridiculous patches on my lawn now in the pattern that I scattered it.

I bought the 100sqm pack with the built in spreader the first time I used this product, I just refill it with the bigger bag and the spreading rate is always accurate at the right amount. Its tricky to spread as my garden looked a bit like wembley with lush green stripes and paler shaded stripes in the parts I had missed. Easy enough to go over and balance out a few weeks later.
Just need to scarify all the black moss out now and overseed

We use Greenthumb, as their treatments tend to work a treat ;-) However, if any of their treatments don't work, or they have an adverse impact on your lawn, then they often agree to put things right at no additional cost.
Our rear lawn went really patchy after our early summer treatment, and I had the area manager out this week. He agreed that it may have been an error with the mixture/concentration, but he couldn't say for sure as I had raked all of the dead grass up (to encourage new growth).
Anyway, he agreed that they would come out next week and re-seed the rear lawn at no additional cost to us :-)

Thanks Sinjin Smythe, as a one off application to get ahea of the [email protected] state of our front "lawn" this'll be useful.
