Neat, always fancied one of these but there was no way I was spending a fiver on one! (like 99% of the stuff I get from iwoot and firefox, it's overpriced and I am always disapointed lol) Can't go wrong at £1.49 though.

Plus 2.95 P&p

yikes.....buy loads or add something else and go for free postage?

If it weren't for the postage - I'd snap this up.

Greal deal though

Even with the postage this is cheaper that a lot places if you're after something like this but maybe items like this should be listed as "Amazon fillers" or have clearer P&P charges in the title Edi?!?!?

Voted hot.

Great little trinkets for my daughter's friends, so I bought enough to get free P&P.

I got a penguin mopod a while back. It doesn't work with my Siemens BenQ mobile, or my hubbies' Sony Ericsson 750i. We are both on the Virgin network. It did work with my friends' Nokia-something-or-other, not sure which network she's with.

I can explain that - looking at the frequency range (800 to 1600 Mhz), this will only respond to o2 or vodafone (inc sub nets like tesco on o2), as they are 900Mhz, but t-mob & orange are 1800Mhz. IIRC, america uses 1900 & 3G 2300, but don't quote me. If anyone fancies a cheaper option, check your local Tesco - mine had phone charms at

Got 2 free (penguin and monkey) a month ago, amusing the first go then it just becomes silly and who over the age of 5 would attach it to their mobile!

Expect to see these (or copies) in poundland sometime soon

I don't think they are meant to be attached to your mobile. I believe you can attach them to handbag (if phone is in bag) or sitting on top of desk (if phone is in drawer) and then you can tell when your phone is ringing when you see this thing start spinning and flashing!!l A cute gimmicky toy.:giggle:

BTW, thanks for the explanation jnm21

these things have been around for years, they're very popular in japan and hong kong and can be cheaply bought on ebay.

Agreed Charlie

We dont usually add p&p for Amazon items.. I've amended the title now indicating as a filler item.

Only mentioned as the majority of Amazon items posted are DVD boxsets that require a small filler rather than this way round where you either need to order loads (as one poster did) or use this as that filler item....

Would be a good idea if others followed your example so at a glance people can scan or search for this kind of 'filler' item.

Good find though Edi.
