Does amazon do any price matching on its own make products?

They do.
And what does that tell you about a company, when they price match their own products only because other shops are cheaper.
Same price at Amazon with 3% Topcashback

I would think buying it direct from Amazon would help if there is any future need of customer support. Also (whilst I'm raining on the parade) although this is a good price, Amazon have had it on offer previously at £94.99.

Hehehehe, correct.

But these Amazon Fire tablet's are STILL cheaper than it's next nearest competitors (arguably) selling their own equivalent version's of essentially the same thing's, or whatever whatever, right?, so ... lol. :-D
Thanks.

Was that on Black Friday 2019 too?, or ...

I'm assuming the Amazon tablet's that you're both thinking about was the newer 2019 version of the Amazon Fire 10 tablet's with 32GB in it?.

As opposed to the 2018 version of the Amazon Fire 10 tablet's with 32GB instead then?, or ...

Thanx.

Wow thanks for posting this. We have one of these and 2 ipads for the kids. These are so frustrating to use for children because of the way games work like Minecraft etc.. Also there's no youtube or youtube kids. I'm going to have a good look at this later on but I'm hoping it works and youtube kids can be installed sone how afterwards.

I wouldn't ever recommend a fire tablet for children as amazon have, with all their resources, made a right pigs ear of it.

Second the thanks for posting. If it works then this would be a bargain tab with none of greedy Bezo’s ‘let’s lock it down rubbish’ on there.

Heat from me OP
This or the 64g version? And can I even justify it, after buyingan I pad Air 3 a few weeks ago.

Thinking about it, What would be the best micro SD card to go with this? be better value than paying £30 for 32g extra.

I was thinking of another 128g

If you were to do this, would it void the warranty? I.e. if there was an issue with the hardware, could you do a factory reset and it wouldn't be an issue?
Same price on Amazon now
These are bang on for kids. I have them for my twins and they love them good value for money and amazon will grnerally replace them if there any issues. I bought additional sd cards as well so no issues with space

This tablet is on Amazon at the same price, I recommend Amazon over Argos. Also, it's not the best historical price. Cold for me...

I am currently buying a tablet for my son, I personally would go for costco.co.uk/Com…408 , as it has Android Pie 9.0 and double the memory.

Oh, Costco gives 2 year warranty as well.
Picked one of these up from cex at the weekend for the same price, doh.

It's to be used by my 7 year old son. I've side loaded Google play store for YouTube etc

Also, I pay £1.99 a month for fire kids unlimited - this is fantastic in my opinion - means he has a locked down system with games, books, videos and audible. Such good value, I'm considering getting one for myself.
Used to have a Fire 8 (2018 edition) and after sideloading the Google Play Store it would run sluggish and require a power cycle every day to restore performance for a short period.

Upgraded to this and it runs great. I have it set up with an OTG cable so when I'm out in the field with my DSLR it auto-offloads the photos. I also use it for auto-tasks in Black Desert Mobile and Lineage 2 at lowest settings it's playable. CoD Mobile is very playable. Retroarch works amazing on PS1 and N64 games (and obviously less intensive games).

The only real gripe I have is because of the size and weight you'll find your hands getting tired rather quickly when reading books in a portrait position.

EDIT: Also if you contact Amazon support and say that the tablet takes too long to unlock and you've discovered the source of the problem is how it loads the lock screen ads, they should remove them for free (completely free of charge, or in some instances they'll charge you the £10 but refund it)

Been waiting on this dropping in price.
4% Airtime Rewards at Argos for those that use it - better for me than the 3% Quidco from Amazon

Didn't realise there was a tool to automate the installation of play store.

Have done loads of these using the HowToGeek website.

Must be much easier with the app. Thanks!

Quite a hike in price compared to this deal.
I got this on the black Friday deal and am paying in 5 interest free instalments. Just looked on my Amazon account and you can still pay in 5 instalments of £22.

"What would be the best micro SD card to go with this? be better value than paying £30 for 32g extra."

You're seriously griping over just £30 odd extra cost that'd be incurred by you, on account of buying the 64GB Amazon Fire tablet, over that of it's cheaper 32GB Amazon Fire tablet?.

I can pretty much bet my life on the fact that no iDevice internal storage 'anythings' will ever cost/charge you ONLY £30 (hell, £60 even?), for even a miniscule jump from 32GB, to just 64GB even?.

(Traditionally), an additional £100+ (at the very least, etc?), is usually/normally standard protocols here (or whatever?).

So £30 say, for that additional 32GB internal storage, is nowt all, in my opinion? (especially factoring in the fact that you're already obviously happy to pay big buck's for something that will arguably not be used by yourself anymore than that of what you're potentially using your current iPad for anyway, etc?. :-D

Just my 2 Cents worth observations of your above earlier original anyways ...

I hope some of my above help'a you in some way there, or something, in someway, etc?. :-)
