It gives you access to kid friendly apps videos books and other such things on the fire tablet and kindle.
It's slightly odd this. Even if your memory is full it allows you to 'install' a pile of extra apps, ive no idea whether they are streamed, downloaded to memory everytime they open or what.

My kids are always signing up to it by mistake but I wouldn't say it gives you access to anything exciting though it does allow you to 'lock down' the tablet with so kids can't run anything they shouldn't, something amazon makes needlessly difficult for people who don't want to pay this fee.

After my daughter bought four games for £16 in the time it took me to go to the toilet the other day, I've since found that the settings allow for a variety of parental controls.
It's also available to non prime customers for £47 for the year with the £10 credit. Making it £3.08 per month if that's any good to anyone.
Will this work on the kindle app for the iPad does say compatible devices?
It’s the books that are of most interest (she has a tiger mum!)
Are all kindle books in Amazons children’s books section available?
does it include music?
Too many questions I shall have to go for it.
Heat added as I did not know about this!
I'm paying monthly and this is only £1.99pm for a single child. The £4.99 tariff is for up to four children.

Thanks had it in the description but updated the title. Still works out slightly cheaper than £1.99 if you factor in the £10 amazon credit.
I've got 3 kids signed into one child profile at £1.99 a month - any real benefit of multiple child profiles

I think the content changes depending on their age so if they are all on the 1 profile they will only see the 1 child's age content. Are they able to use their devices at the same time?
My daughter (then 6 or 7) has had this before it was good apart from including a 15 rated Wonder Woman animated film featuring decapitation. I did let them know.

Can your kids all use at one time? I’ve got 3 girls so this would help me

Yes, we have 3 fire tablets and got the games/apps across all 3 tablets with one child profile. I've set the age range setting quite wide from 3-8 so doesn't appear to be an issue
can you buy this on prime trial and cancel prime, will this still continue ?

Yes it's a year's subscription so it would still continue but after the year it would renew at 7.99 instead of 4.99.
Shame you can only use on fire devices

Annoyingly, it looks like you can use it on an ipad in the US. Not definite but it looks that way.

Thanks. They must have stopped the promotion early.
I didn't get my £10 - went through chat and they fixed the issue but it's still not there!

It won't show up in your amazon credit. It should just deduct from a qualifying purchase at checkout.
