Looks like a decent offer here what with kids at home now with schools closed from today morning across the country.

Also the year plan can be had for £15.99 - works out a good value in the long run I think.

Great deal!!! Thanks op.
My kids' Fires are over a year old and I'm having to fork out £4.99/ month to keep the content available. This is is so much cheaper when signing up for a year.

Update - within minutes of signing up for a year, received an email refunding £2.61 from this month's £4.99 subscription as I was only half way though the month We'll played Amazon. Makes the annual deal even cheaper.

In addition, the parental controls on the Fire Tables are very good, can limit time of day / total time usage. Can also stop games etc until a certain amount of reading has been done.

What's exactly do you get? Is any of this content actually good? If I got netflix YouTube kids and the play store would think I would still need this? I know what you get in terms of what it has to offer but is anything I can't get from other places. Any amazon exclusive content. Thanks

Not true. I had the free year sub and got the 3 months deal in December. My sub ends in 3 days so I'll have to make a new account and just sign up for the 12 month deal I think.

For me the huge things are Kindle content for my girls to read and ad free games. I hate seeing them on games from play store full of ads. You can also leave them to it to a certain extent once you have tweaked the parental controls to allow content of certain age range.

I know you can do similar on Play store, but the quality of apps is so variable on play store, and with ads, that I still feel in need to approve apps before that install then. I don't do this with their Fire tablets. In short, it just works and I am more confident that they are not seeing inappropriate content.
Silly question sorry but does anyone know how to auto play the best video?

When we’re in the car and an episode finishes it doesn’t automatically play the next episode and I cannot figure out how
Awesome deal, thankyouverymuch
Thanks mate, bought 12 months for £15.99, was paying £1.99 prime price per month but this saves me £8 over the year, nice one

Edit: just had email saying they will refund £1.84 for my previous month I only paid on 17th

This is spot on. My little girl seems to find a new game every time shes on it. Considering she just turned 4 and plays it perhaps once a fortnight, I'm quite amazed. "What games that hunny?"..... "Baby game"

I tried the play store as a free alternative but all the games have ridiculously easy clickable ads.
The quality of the content on here is brilliant, been paying £2 or £3 per month for ages and it's well worth it.

Like WorthingBloke says it's worth it for the lack of spammy trashy adverts alone which litter the play store.
Thanks op. Just got this and set it up on two kids kindles which we were using with side loaded play store apps n games..

For the record, you can side load the play store itself. Just requires a little extra things installed first (all Google).

Did that on the first day when we got the kindles, it's really useful. Only issue I now have is when they will use fire for kids those games won't come thru as we have downloaded outside of fire but I'm sure kids will have enough on fire for kids to keep them busy

Google it, quite easy but depends on which kindle/fire you have. Different files.

Yeah that's a pain but helpful for the parent profile. I can use it for my Tesco shopping now
Thanks for posting this. Both my kids are loving it. Much better than the crappy youtube videos they usually watch.
Many thanks OP. I was on the £4.99 monthly family deal (which wasn't bad value given the number of devices attached to it!). Have cancelled and am now on the £15.99 annual deal - good saving.

Cheers!
Thanks!

You have just saved me nearly £44!

Been paying £4.99 a month for a long time as both my kids have fire tablets.

Massive saving, Once i clicked subscribe it seems to have automatically cancelled/taken over the previous sub.
Do i need fire tablet or can this accessed from any device with internet like Netflix?
Thank you signed up for the 3 month option.... Was paying 1.99 a month so 99p for 3 months is great
Purchased the year subscription! Thank you!
Been paying £1.99 a month for this forever. Worth every penny. Took they year! Saved £8

I've done it with a month just paid for, they have refunded me a couple of quid from my months payment and started the year subscription straight away. Hope this helps..x
Has anyone who paid the £40 or so annual fee gone for this and got a refund of the unused year fee?
Also been paying £4.99 monthly so £15.99 for a year is a bargain and huge saving. Cheers OP!
If anyone’s interested can get iplayer on kindle which is free!
Can this be used on any tablet or does it only work on amazon tablet

But that is just video? This package has games and books as well. Awesome, logical fun for 2-5 year olds. Can’t recommend enough (I have a 2 and 6 yr old)
