Have some heat, £2 cheaper than two weeks ago and even that was cheap ! hotukdeals.com/dea…792

Great HD screen on this one, can't get them as small as 6" screen now with this quality of screens. Only let down is no SD/Micro SD storage
Can these be rooted?

It appears they can be: https://forum.xda-developers.com/fire-hd

I wouldn't bother rooting it.

I've got an 8" Fire (prime day bargain). Once you've installed Google's playstore, & changed the launcher to something more acceptable, it looks & behaves pretty much like a standard Android tablet.

I'd root it, it will run much smoother once you get all the Amazon crap off it and you'll have more storage space.
Isn't 6" too small to be considered a tablet? It's not uncommon to see phones that size now.

Nope, 6" is too big to be called a phone.

Yes the iPhone 7 plus is 5.5 inches and I forget mostly that it's the plus version
No screen mirroring
Plus £14.01 Postage to NI? Hmm! Not great! The only option available! Unable to contact them to discuss either! Oh well!

Never had or had a reason to get one, anyone recommend them for a good reason?
For anyone wondering about connecting to a TV, found this on the support page:

The Fire HD 6 can be connected to a TV via a SlimPort micro-USB to HDMI adapter, or it can be connected wirelessly to a supported streaming device.

If you want a cheap but capable 6" tablet then get one.
