It's obviously a better price than the amazon price (£5 cheaper) but I don't think other sellers offer the 2 year no quibble replacement of its breaks which is well worth the fiver.
The 2 years is with manufacture amazon . As its an amazon make

Good point. I’ve checked the product information and it does say 2 year manufacturer warranty so I assume it falls under the same criteria. I’ll message ao and or amazon to make sure though.
May be worth adding to the title that it's the 8 (8" model)

Oops!
One thing worth bearing in mind buying direct/Amazon is not having to deal with a third party if you have on going problems.
We bought one of these nearly two years ago. (27 Nov 2017)
It was replaced last december due to the micro usb port failing.
Last week the same thing happened. I'm not sure it is entirely due to my son mishandling or being rough. He is older now and very careful.
However, Amazon where great about it. No problems getting another replacement. However their systems show that we didn't return the last one. We did, but their systems didn't book it back in. Luckily, their return tracking shown we had posted it and some tracking information back to their depot. Some weirdness had gone on showing us as being charged then refunded. So the system shown us as already being refunded!
Therefore the computer wouldn't let us have another refurb!
This is where buying direct came in. Amazon just instantly refunded us the full amount, and told us to keep the tablet.
The brand new version is on offer for less than the (two year) older version!
So new tablet and a new two year warranty and Kindle for kids for another year.
We have decided to go for the bigger 10" this time as it has the TYPE C usb socket which is reversible.
It is also on offer...

Why does this model not have the stand on the case but the 7 and 10 does? I am just looking to buy one.. or does it? Thanks for any help. Looking for a 2 year old and 5 year old :-)
Yes, only for under 5s, the new 10 being 2 to 6 times faster and only about £10 more in the current deals.
Buy a rugged case for the 10.

Depends what you want. These come with a year of Fire for Kids Unlimited which is normally £49 a year for prime members for 4 kids. I have two kids with these and the subscription is definitely worth for the content you get.

Yeah, we just use prime and Netflix for our kids so it worked out cheaper that way, but yes it’s a good price if you want kids unlimited.
Fire for Kids unlimited is currently £0.99 for the three months family package (up to 4 children) through Amazon.

Am looking for two Fire 10 tablets will subscribe to the Fire for Kids unlimited package for that price, currently looking for cases that will withstand two not very carefull children. Any recommendations for cases greatfully recieved (y),

They seem fairly cheap on Ebay, but still holding out for any recommendations.
