Just plug your Fire TV Stick into an HDTV and start streaming in minutes. Use the included Alexa Voice Remote to search across apps and find the best way to watch. The new Fire TV Stick has the fastest Wi-Fi and most accurate voice search of any streaming media stick. Shows start faster and stream more smoothly than ever before.

Not as good as prime day, but better than anywhere else. Looks like it was on yesterday but then expired.. happy for this to be combined into that thread.

What was the price on Prime day? Also, is this v2 or v3 stick? I'm contemplating an upgrade from a v1 stick..

They were £29.99 on prime day and this is version 2 I don't think there is a version 3.

They've put it up again but there's a code on here somewhere for £5 off at tesco so you could order one there.

£32.99 now

35.99 now - that's jumping a lot - will buy at ~34 or less- hate paying the odds

can anyone report how well the voice search for youtube works on this? While I don't use it, kids used to use youtube on the Samsung "not-so" smartTV, but in the new update they've removed the youtube app...so at least voice search for youtube would make having to pay for a box to do it that bit more comforting

As far as I know, there is no way to cast from phone to Plex, and only if used Kodi etc, so guess can't go that route on the HTPC. Would be good if could just ask Alexa to play youtube vids on an HTPC via the Echo though
