    One year guarantee!
Too short a guarantee for money involved :/

    Isn't 2 years a legal requirement?

Is response time still a thing? For consoles etc. I couldn't see any info on inputs when I looked earlier either but apart from that it looks great for the money

The 32 and 40 models only have HDMI 1.4

These tv’s are slow to respond, and frustrating to use

Seen a couple of reviews on youtube within the last 4 months and they said its very responsive and not like your typical sluggish Google powered telly.

Not sure about this. I can imagine all that buffering and time it takes every time you just want to change channel.

Maybe it's best to stick to a 'normal' TV and Sky and just get the Fire Stick separately.

I’d agree see my comments above re previous JVC fire TV

Any video reviews on this as of yet?

know it’s not released but any marketing vids available

It's a rebranded TCL look for the reviews of those will sum it up. (doesn't matter much for TV sub £500 anyway they are all same quality so go with whichever is cheapest which meets your feature/size you require)

People should really not pay inflated Amazon price and buy the TCL for almost £100 cheaper.

Was tempted but looks like they don’t come with a digital tuner (sometimes it just comes in handy to have terrestrial!!!) so I am out on this occasion for what I would require to replace my bedroom tv.

Hmmm..... you're right. No mention of Freeview/Freesat tuners.

Would the OS be full of ads, considering the price these are going for?

Don't want to be changing the volume for an Amazon Prime advert to pop up each time 👀 (edited)

Unsure on the OS but if the OS is android based like a firestick you can disable all that rubbish, we will just have to see in june

What's people thoughts on using this screen as a WFH monitor setup?
    Alex_H's avatar
Personally think it will be way too big but down to your preference and desk size haha.

I had a JVC Fire OS TV back jn 2021 picture was excellent ( sound bar connected so no prob if speakers poor ) what I couldn’t live with was the clunky OS or remote response took ages to do anything even if was just volume up/down or change channels it was a delay that felt like minutes before anything happened am sure wasn’t that long but just seemed so as often pressed multiple times then the command was acted on three times
Hopefully they’ve improved that aspect over earlier models
    Mates mum now has it
I have LG oled c1 and just prefer the web OS and magic remote

Agreed! Shame the 43 doesn’t have the local dimming but very tempted for the bedroom

Underneath the surface, these are poor quality Chinese sets. I wouldn't give Amazon my money instead of Sony or LG.

Only saving grace is the excellent quality service Amazon offers vs those same manufacturers.

I went with the 55” QLED…and got it in 5 monthly payments, so I’m happy!

was looking for an OLED for the office and this popped up. so pre ordered on 5 monthly plan, went for the 43 inch. do not need anything bigger. Look forward to seeing this in June.
