I have a Samsung Smart TV and from what I can see I get most of the Apps available on this. Am I missing something or does this just turn a TV into a smart TV ? - thanks

Very simple, just plug and play and you're away!

Basically it has the same or similar apps, however, you can install others, a popular one being Kodi, which can add additional features to your stick. Searching the web can give you more info about this

You need to install Kodi for the above wjat you've mentioned. As standard these are meant for people with prime or Netflix

Yea you can get hd sports channels on kodi very easily using the zemtv add-on... Usually in 720p but some in 1080p

I'll make this simple for you, install Mobdro and it covers everything you asked apart from HD. Don't use the dreadful Kodi crap and expect it to work for free. Kodi works well with paid subscriptions, of which I'm not going to get in to as that's a minefield on which to choose. Mobdro for live streams as a free app completely destroys anything Kodi has for free.

The biggest difference is that Smart TVs become obsolete and these don't. When the next generation of technology/content is around you can just spend another £30 to upgrade. The TVs themselves can't compete on most smart features, but that's not to say you currently need anything else.

Alternatively, purchase another item to take total over £30 and return it as soon as you've collected it. A faff and I wouldn't do it repeatedly but worth it occasionally.

they used to do the fab £1.00 note pads but have stopped for some reason-

There was a review written by a journalists wife on the JLP site, she bought dozens a year for her husband - thought that was a great advert.

Bring back the £1.00 'Reporter' note pads JLP please

Excuse my ignorance but a friend has a Chromecast and can watch movies through an app (Allcast) from Tablet to TV.
Is Amazon Fire Stick similar to Chromecast (and Roku) in that you can send movies through an app to your TV?
Otherwise my Smart TV seems to be similar to Amazon fire Stick?
Thanx.

It's Amazon content on the stick or you use other apps to access say Netflix or install Kodi.

£29.99 on Amazon itself. I would rather go down that route directly bought 2 already

I have a chomecast and my phone has all the movie apps and mobdro and I find it excellent, is there any need to buy a firestick?

Poor picture. Buy Nvidia 4k TV box instead or Amazon TV box.
