Got one for £25 last Prime Day. Good deal but will wait until Black Friday to see if it drops to same price.
I managed to get one for £4.99 on Prime day

Anyone see the 4K model going cheaper on Black Friday? Currently in the market for one and I'd be surprised if Amazon dropped from £50 to below £33.

Possible they might dip it further then, given the product's lifecycle...

£33 with voucher ? Not £26

4K Fire Stick is 33 with voucher, normal Fire Stick with Alexa Remote is £26.

Would have bought at £26 but not £33.
It will be £25 come black Friday I'm guessing.

Non 4K version for £25?

No, the 4k Fire TV Stick was £25. Looking at my order history, that was as a deal of the day on 15/07/19.
I got one at £25 on prime day.
This is still a good deal and voting hot for the sake of a few quid if anyone wants one of these great devices then get the deal. Why wait and hope its £3 or even £8 cheaper in a months time

It was definitely the 4K version for £25 yes, I think the standard was £20 though you'd be mad not to get 4K for just a fiver more. I got a few of them too, unbelievable price, they even had other promos for £5 off over a certain spend too I think making it entirely possible to get one for £20 or in some cases £15 if you could stack the promos.

I think we will be extremely lucky if they bring that price back, the first and last time it has ever happened so far. I think £29.99 or £34.99 black friday is more realistic but I suppose it is possible they will bring it back, at this stage I'd say probably worth waiting if you can, though to be fair this offer is very good on it's own merits....

Shouldn't make any difference if you are on a phone or computer. Are you sure you don't have "pay after delivery" selected on your Paypal account? This stops you entering any codes, make sure your paypal is set to pay directly from your linked credit card or bank account rather than after delivery.

I can confirm this was correct i got one too.

Black Friday i can see this being the same £25 or £30 at most - its been out a while now!
Just bought it and going to sell my fire TV 2nd gen box. Then with the cash get another come black Friday

those three camels (likely ridden by Kings) might have been following a star....and so their 4G signal might not have been the best....just saying

Seriously sure tho ive seen the 4K stick flash it knickers up on here for £25 quite a few months back....am sure its likely to hit that mark on Black Friday

For those desparate for one (Firestick desparation is a thing - 'seriously !!) this is a good deal.
But what with a Yankie plug, and Trump's fat face plastered all over it....im gonna wait for the Brexit Version on Black Friday (where I might just get to enjoy it for 5 minutes before the entire country is swallowed up by a Black Hole Vortex - created by having the sheer cheek of wanting to leave the European Galactic Federation lol )

I've still got my 2nd gen box downstairs, its faster than the 4k stick but a lot more bulky obviously and having to plug it into the wall might pee people off.
You'll be able to buy 2 sticks for the price you get for the box
WimpSlayer29/10/2019 11:13

Does the 4k stick have alexa too?

Yes.

If you have multiple boxes going into an AV receiver and the 4K Firestick is set to HDMI connect, don't be impatient with Alexa. Wait for the firestick screen to appear and stay there.

I turned on the Firestick, which turned on the TV and receiver. I managed to buy a film I didn't want by asking Alexa to search for a title and pressing the firestick remote a few times, trying to get the firestick screen to appear quicker, while the receiver cycled through the other devices.

I know ...a fool with a tool is still a fool...
Come on. Amazon you can do cheaper

Sounds complicated and slow!... I wanted one of these for the Apple TV app but it turns out the Apple TV app on fire stick doesn’t gather tv shows from other sources so now not sure.

I assume like many other members on here, I have numerous Amazon accounts. Amazon had a number of different promotions the days leading up to Prime day. £10 promo credit for Amazon Assistant, £10 promo credit for something else. I grabbed these on a few accounts and used them on the Prime deals

I got a PS Classic for 99p and pre ordered Pokemon Sword for £24.99 etc.

How
As stated in description these come with a USA plug but if you have a spare usb hub on rear of TV your laughing. I purchased one of these last time eBay had a code and delivery was fine and works as UK one.
The_Fiend29/10/2019 11:50

How

How in what sense? How have I got multiple accounts?.. If so Amazon used to be a lot more lenient on opening accounts (they are a lot more strict now). How I got the promotions?.. If so they just needed Prime on each account, which they had promotions to sign up for a week trial for 99p. You could then take advantage of about £25 promo credit from that. You could also buy the Prime day offers using them
Also if you see them on Amazon cheaper you can always pop into you local Curry's and ask for a price match. Saves time on waiting for a delivery and having to be home. But must be sold by Amazon and not by a 3rd party seller.
Hope that helps some.

Sadly both my Samsung and Phillip Ambilight TV's wont power the 4K off the USB on the TV's...not enough power going to them. I'm sure it DOES work...just not with ALL TV's

Wow that's a brilliant deal so good I wouldn't believe it if you didn't post a picture. 🤘 if this deal comes up again for £4.99 can someone please let me know thank you.
Good price.

As an aside, my 4k stick won't run kodi. it does, for a while then stops. and i have to reinstall. works for a while, then same issue
The 4K stick are loads better if you use apps such as Plex or Kodi ...even without a 4K TV they're just faster to load and apps perform better. I have 2 now as they usually drop to £25 in the sales

I think the Firestick is a good device overall. Got it originally for the Curzon app, but the 4K one seems to allow better Netflix and Prime compared to the apps on a 3 year old LG tv.
Waiting for a 65" LG C9 to head south of 2k...
Then probably plug Firestick directly into that.
