FREE YOUR FIRE TV TUTORIAL

(CUT THE CORD??)

I often see a lot of comments on here regarding Fire TV, where people are a little unsure how to install certain apps:)

So I have put a little tutorial together to help people to free there Fire TV .

First of all you will have to have a card registered to your Amazon account in order to download any file, even if it is a free file!!

Even tho the Fire TV uses Android it's different to a conventional Android TV box. There is no Google play store Instead Amazon use there own app store. It is nowhere near as good as Google play store. Amazon do not let you download APKs from the browser so you need to install a couple of apps to get around this.

The two apps that you need are

1) DOWNLOADER
2) FILELINKED

DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS

Press the Home button on your remote. Go to settings (on the top right). Then select My Fire TV, then select Developer Options, make sure ADB debugging and apps from unknown sources are both on.

Click the home button, then select the magnifying glass icon on the left of home, then type in "downloader". (or hit hold the mic button and say it) You need to download and install this application.(it has a orange coloured app icon).

Once Downloader has been installed open it then go to settings and enable javascript, then go to home (in downloader) on the right hand side enter the url below in the URL section

h t t p : //docsquiffy.com/fil…ked

Then click go, it will open up a web page, scroll down a little bit until you see a big icon with a blue arrow that says download, click this and download and install filelinked.

Open Filelinked and type in this code

22222222
PIN: 4754 (if asked)

Then hit enter (dismiss the disclaimer box message)

There is a Good selection of apps in this folder. In order to download a app just scroll down and select the app you want the download box on the right will be highlighted green, click enter, you will see the download bar turning green, once the bar is fully green it will say file downloaded, click the icon again then install

when the app has been installed click close and repeat the process untill you have downloaded all the apps you want

The apps that I recommend are

MX player
CinimaApk
Cyberfix TV
Black Panther
TV Zion
OneBox hd
JetBox
MegaBox HD
Popcorntime
Aptoide store (this is very similar to Google play store and you can install some good apps on here e.g YouTube)

(avoid showbox and mobdro)

When you have finished installing your files click back to come out of the filelinked folder. Select the dust bin icon on the top right of the screen and delete the setup files as they are not needed anymore & will just clog up your storage space.

PHEWWWWWW THAT'S THE MOVIES & SERIES SORTED JUST THE LIVE TV STUFF LEFT NOW

Alot of people use a app called Kodi. Personally I'm not a fan of Kodi. I find it very awkward and time-consuming and unreliable as well as slow. And the app takes up a lot of memory and slows down your system especially when all the addons update. Yes there are many pre-configured builds available that make it a lot more attractable but still for me a no no, but it's personal preference.

There are free live TV apps available, but personally I wouldn’t waste my time with them, as they are full of adds half of them don’t work, the ones that do freeze and and don’t seem to last and it just ends up being a waste of time!!

I use a paid subscription (yes EyepeeTv). I have heard a lot of nightmare stories of people buying off ebay and I DO NOT RECEOMMEND IT!!
Many dishonest sellers will sell you a 12-month subscription when in fact is only a 1 or 3 month subscription and then gets cut off. I'm sure some of you have experienced this!!. Plus a lot of the sellers will sell you a very cheap slow glitchy service full of channels from other countries that are not even needed!! Plus a lot of people having problems with weekend blocks at the moment

I have been using a very good UK one for about a 11 months. They have all the channels that I need.Movies sports etc. I paid £60 for a 12 months subscription. I am very happy with it and the support they offered me & highly recommended them!!.

If you are interested in knowing the name off the service then feel free to PM me…..

Also look into using a VPN or connecting a Router to HUB and changing a digit of the routers mac address to change your IP address (youtube it)

Enjoy

It is now, but give amazon a chance to update. Normally the offer price is pretty much the same across most major retailers (amazon, argos, currys, john lewis etc)
Not bad for £35. Thanks.

Double the storage and higher ram on the shield though & storage is easily expandable on the shield. If you want the best you have to pay the money though for most I'm sure the fire TV stick will be fine for most

Honestly in my opinion this is one of the best streaming devices out. It is super fast smooth and priced very good and with this offer at the moment it is ridiculously cheap bearing in mind that you get an Alexa voice remote...

No need for an Android box as this is an Android box but just heavily Amazonfied:)
Why not showbox? What's the best one for movies ?

This is why. Apparently the servers were handed over to the authorities

No offense but it's only 35 quid, is it really worth dragging that out over 5 months, did you have to apply for credit with that, does it put a mark on your credit score ?
