even if you don't have a 4k TV the 4k fire stick is much better as its much more powerful which makes it much more responsive. So if you can spend a bit more on that.
lol how is this even hot. its above normal price of 20
Will grab a 4K when it hits £30....well worth grabbing the 4K, it's super fast.

No it looks like the standard one unfortunately. I recommend the 4K version.

Currently £39.99 on Amazon, but I'd be happy for one at £20 if you can tell me where to get it

Wait for the 4K reductions.
Far better device and regular price drops make it worth the wait.

I'd avoid this as a result sorry
Added to my tesco shop, thank you.

My older Fire stick is starting to feel a bit sluggish.

Will probably not be stocked at your store. However, prices are likely to drop on the Fire Stick at Amazon, AO & Currys etc... tomorrow, so you should be able to get the Stick for this price delivered tomorrow

I think the Stick drops to £20 2-3 times a year (Easter Sale, Black Friday and maybe Prime Day), else it is reduced to £25 or £30.

Does this and 4k version have disney+?
So i'm looking at one of these for Apple TV and Disney+. Does it have both and this is still HD right, even though it's not 4K(but i don't have a 4k TV anyway)

You can download both Disney+ and Apple TV apps on the fire OS. Obviously both require a separate subscription. This is FHD (1080) but I would highly recommend the 4K version even if you don’t have a 4K TV as the overall chip speed is vastly quicker

Thanks. Have subs for both(Apple TV I got free for a year with my iPad) but wanted to check.
No price match at other retailers yet which is strange. Was waiting on Amazon...
Just rang AO, Got two for £51 they price matched as Tesco would do del charge. cheers for heads up

I can’t really comment too much as I’ve never tried a Roku sorry!
Price will go down in August on Amazon Prime day but for now voted hot
Other than the 4K what's the difference between the two devices? Better processor, extra storage?

Have both.
Would recommend the Roku more for the average user.
Everything plays perfectly on it and it’s very fast. It’s simple to use and perfect for my parents.

The Amazon Firestick is what I prefer though. It’s linked to my Alexa and can instal a wider range of apps (Kodi)
If you don’t have any need for these additional services get the Roku.

it is much faster they say.
Did anyone get Dolby passthrough to work on these as I think the downloaded version of Kodi failed to work properly on my parents one.
Any deals kicking round on the 4K version at the moment?
