Alexa app is now giving it for 22 pounds... this one is cheaper
Is this likely to go any lower on prime day starting tomorrow .

No. Its cheap enough I think for what it it. There are bundles glitches when available sometimes that have brought it around to 16 in the past but I think Amazon have fixed that.
Ordered! Have some heat!! 🏼

Fair play, I stand corrected. Apologies OP!

This is the Prime Day price!
I'd be all over a similar deal for the 4K one (I don't have a 4K TV, but the better processor makes it good for emulation)
Waiting on the 4k deal
What do we think the 4K deal price will be?
I think £30.
£25 just ordered cracking price
Obviously it's a good price in isolation but I just can't see that this is a decent deal any longer with the 4k at only £5 more.

Sure glad I waited
I received my orders today. The firesticks came with the 2nd gen alexa remote with volume control etc. Is that just how they come now or did they send the 4k stick?
Mine only charged me £9.99
Thank u!

The 2nd gen fire sticks come with the same remote as the 4k one does.

I'm tempted to send mine back to get the 4k version for £5 more as it's alot more powerful and runs Fire OS 6 instead of 5. These 2nd gen ones are 3 years old now so likely to be discontinued soon.
Only issue is it costs £4 to return it

Thanks for the reply, you could easily sell it on ebay for a profit and still buy the 4k stick.
Is the 4K device worth it though in peoples opinion , obviously to use 4k streaming you would need a 4k TV, most if not ALL 4K TVs are smart TVs and have the apps built in and so you wouldnt really need a fire stick, ,so im wondering what would the benefits be ?????
For me... im just looking for a fire stick i can hopefully take on holiday and use in the hotel so the kids can watch movies and english programs during down times and not get too bored.

4k stick is more powerful thus faster.

I thought most people bought these to put kodi on. I mean most people have smart tvs anyway

Does Kodi even work anymore ? I dabbled in downloading cutoms builds but then most of them were no longer supported and it became a mess of missing streaming links etc , i gave up in the end

* Wookie Build * i think it was called

Well kodi is slow and crap, I tend to put apps directly on the stick. Works great. Kodi used to take 5 mins to watch a film. My new way takes about 25 seconds.

What apps are you using directly on the Firestick ?

Cyberflix TV, mobdro etc. Couldn't tell you how to do it. My mate does it for me, he sells em on ebay.

Ordered the 4k now and my sister's having the standard one so all good.

Already got one 4k one and the speed difference is noticeable so definitely worth the extra £5
