No point me paying the extra tenna as it's for my parents who don't have a 4K TV. Even if they did upgrade their TV they wouldn't need 4K, unless they upgrade their eyes as well!

It's not the 4k element but rather the processing power and ram. This old firestick is useless and slow.

Aren't they this price most places? I'd rather pay the extra tenna for the 4k model

Ask them for a refund of the tenna or buy another and send it back

Yes, they are now. When I looked at Amazon yesterday they were £39.99 and no delivery before December 25th. Guess they've new stock in.
Does Kodi still work on these things?

At least it's a good size!

I bought the Fire Stick from Tesco last night at full price. That's going back and I've reserved one at Argos.

Thanks for the info, maybe I'll go for the 4K version then.

I saw it was £20 or £30 4K during Black Friday. Might drop to that again. Is a Christmas gift so can't wait to find out.

I just brought the 4k ones albeit mums tv is standard however it really is what inside the firestick that paying the extra over the non 4k version... honestly get the 4k one even if you dont have 4k TV it is far superior...
Not £10 at Romford store but still good price for £29.99

I would pay the extra £10 for the extra performance....the old one can be a bit laggy

They were £29.99 Black Friday. I’d say they will drop to that price again in the Boxing Day seals

I tried to speak to amazon but coz it wasn't in lightning sale they won't honor it.
Should have got more at black Friday, already got rid of 35 fully loaded sticks

Maybe, I’m suspicious that they raised the price again before the end of their Boxing Day sales (26th-31st). Could be a lightning deal or in the New Years sale for a day or two. It’s definitely worth keeping an eye on and I would never pay full price for an Amazon device as they lower the prices so frequently.

Yeh for sure. 100% it will come down the £29.99 again at some point. Be patient my friend
I am looking for the 4k version but £50 is pretty much the price, with the odd place at £40. I have paid no more than £35 as little as 29 for the last 30/40. I knew I should have bought more
