All the old ones. New movies and those in 4K are very very expensive, sometimes cheaper to watch in the cinema

I bet Kodi's cheaper!lol

Not bad, there's a few movies worth watching in there.

I still miss the good old days of the HTC 5p movie rental!

With the exception of blazing saddles yes they are

If your watching them solo then yes new rentals can be more expensive then the cinema, but for a couple or family then it's a lot cheaper even at £10-£15 a rental.
Plus you have the option of hot food, alcohol and pausing it if you need the toilet.
Not to mention most streaming rentals are unlimited views within a 48 hour period.

Honestly if they ever released films to legal streaming at the same as they did box office they'd pretty much kill traditional cinema chains even if they increased the price to £20.

find me a cinema, not just in London, that shows a new film for £4.49 or less

There is no excuse for not already owning The Goonies.

Odeon Panton Street in London is £6 off peak and actually shows NEW movies which this deal is really not.

As a prime customer, I already get Amazon Instant Video, and access to thousands of free movies. I assume this deal is aimed to non Amazon Prime customers who don't download torrents either?

Free movies that cost £79 a year.

Free movies that cost £79 a year.

The movies don't cost £79 per year though, do they?

You get the movies, plus the TV shows, plus the music streaming, plus the next day delivery, plus the free kindle book per month, plus the kindle lending library.

So, no, not £79 per year for movies.

Good find. Thanks. Heat added.

If you weren't going to buy it anyway, then it doesn't deprive the "owner" of anything.
Not that any of those owners, time,Fox, etc are facing financial hardship.

So a better analogy would be skipping paying a taxi driver after he's taken you to your destination then. You weren't going to pay him anyway, he's already bought the car he's riding in, and he might be rich too. Sure, he'd be better off if you paid for his services, but hey, who cares. Just so many kinds of awesome to your logic..

Amazon Prime Video is pretty rubbish though, isn't it? It's not like it has every movie you could possibly want to see for free. For example, The Revenant and High Rise from the list above are not free on Prime, and those were just the first 2 I checked.
