Why buy this when the new one is coming out next year?

1) Launch consoles usually have hardware issues in the first few years.

2) Launch titles are usually poor, they sell at RRP and takes at least 12 months to establish a library of decent games.

3) Huge back log of Xbox One games, many enhanced on the Xbox One X.
Meanwhile in the UK everywhere seems to be charging £450 for that bundle. Probably so they can give it an AMAZING discount! for Black Friday... down to normal prices.

Are we having an auction? I'll go £220

Mate, there is a new one out next year. No way an Xbox X should be going for £330. Granted it might drop to £300 during black Friday but nah. I haven't even seen Microsoft offer any incentive for people to trade their OG Xbox one's for the new X and I am guessing we'll be thrown under the bus again when the new scarlet comes out. Look at Game offering PS4 pro bundles for £140-160 + PS4.

I just don't think the value of an Xbox will hold.

You still banking on that £250 eh bro? I’m still banking on your predictions for BF to be true lol

At least Xbox has backwards compatability for a great deal of its catalog....
Does this come with the game in physical box or just a code?

Never regretted getting my Xbox even though I already had the one.

Great console.

People saying wait...

It’s another year away. Plus it only works out at around £25 a month or £6.25 a week, surely you could get your moneys worth in that period of time?

I am pricing Scarlet at £499 to £599 on launch.
I cannot agree more that there is such a vast array of amazing games on xbox one x which are being released nowdays georgously enchanced. My backlog is shocking and athough I will envy SSD on next gen, I will definitely not jump into it. IMHO xbox one x is an amazing piece of kit. Games look sick even on 1080p and I will get 2nd one for my bedroom. Just because I want to enjoy it whenever I can 🍺
£3xx Luke warm for me
Damn, I had a refund for my one X but most of it is vouchers and I don't seem to be able to use my credit balance when on .it
Shame, as I fancied trying the free game, too!
Can you track order like from amazon.uk? Never ordered from different amazon.
I got one a few weeks ago for more and with a game I don't give a crap about (yes, I'm an idiot, should have waited, bla bla bla).

If you're buying this for game pass, it's not a waste of money at all. I got myself a 2 year subscription for 60£ (with the upgrade) and the number of games on it is crazy. There's a new console coming out in a year, true, but you don't have to buy it and if you do, you'll probably be able to upgrade giving this console in.

Again, if you want a console for 4K/HD and are interested in Game Pass, it's a great buy. If you don't care about GP, get a PS4.

Well the Scarlett will be just another upgraded Xbox so will play all the same games the regular Xbox One does just better.
