Can you return it?
Ideal for one-handed reading and it's waterproof. Sold!
Out of curiosity, does anyone know a stockist in the UK, where I can go and test and feel one of these?

Don't really want to splash out 'blind'
Didn't even know this thing existed. Looks slick
Was £229 previously. I have tried one. They are really slick.
Just got price alert from CamelCamelCamel.
SOLD
Same at Argos.

Only seen them in Dixon branches in airports!
This is the best e-reader out there. And that's a great price. It's a real pleasure to read with this thing.

So ideal for Mills and Boon.

I'd appreciate any tips on a good case for it. It seems flimsy without one!
The Kobo Libra is better and has been on offer before. You could get the Kobo Libra for a chunk less, which I think is similar spec to the Oasis
Can you ‘read jazz mags on these.

Not sure the Kobo is better, it's cheaper, but the Kindle seems to win in pretty much every other area
I've got a Kobo Aura from years ago and the size is just perfect. Looking at this oasis, it will murder the specs of mine...but that large area to the right, just looks like wasted estate. I'd have to hold one to see, but from the pic it doesn't look like it would be as comfortable a hold as my trusty Kobo Aura.

Maybe you can check Curry's or even a gumtree seller
I've been wondering when Amazon is going to switch to colour e-ink. It exists - though no idea how reliable it is. I'm guessing it won't appear unless a competitor like Kobo tries it first.
They are on their way although Amazon won't be first. I'm not sure what a colour adds to the experience. Will it be like Teletext pages?...
Don’t buy one today it’ll be a kindle in the wind
Don't see the point of Audible if it can't do immersion reading. How hard can it be, c'mon Amazon.
