Great price against the price it has been - but would never have paid £90 for it, but hot now !
Actually every now and then something from the Osram outdoor range seems to come up at a silly price. I bought some a little over a year ago and the quality is excellent. Way above your usual Screwfix / B&Q stuff.
And this is actually £32.39 on subscribe and save (if you have 5 to get the 15% off). Good value so have some solar heat.
any idea what sort of lithium battery these take? if 18650s at least I can get replacements easy enough

Philips website says

Fitted with a replaceable high-performance lithium ion battery (up to 1.5 hours of continuous operation)

that's the problem - nothing I can find says what type of Lithium Ion battery....18650 cell I can get an easy (and more importantly) free supply of - whereas the flat types cannot
You could always order one to take a look and wind it back in to them if you don’t fancy it.
"– Outdoor use (only roofed areas) " is that meant to mean they must be covered over with a roof above or something? (that would make it a struggle to charge)

I would really like to purchase this lamp for my front door entrance. But not too sure, been looking at the reviews on amazon Germany and Italy websites, goid reviews and certainly looks very good, very bright.

now all gone - got 1 in - wish I got 3 now I think

edit : ok wrong, they're now back in again

hmmm something else I'm not sure about with these.....

If go to this site, lights.co.uk/led…tml

It suggests in the details that you can choose to have them wired in or by battery power (no indication of if that is automatic or just have to wire up differently)

But then if look at mwf28s amazon italy link, it gives selectable options, one being "Standard wall light" but another being "wall light with selector for the ..." in product description it then says "Wall light with selector for solar power / mains voltage"

I'm guessing then that this model available is not actually that one, and can therefore only take solar....which will be a shame, as 2 of the 3 I ordered would be where current wired ones are in place

edit :
Confirmed....the ASIN matches, B071J6ZZ5Y, which is the "Standard" one of which product description only brings up Solar

Also it looks like the battery may be a LiPo battery rather than Li-Ion from that same product description

How much light do these need to charge. Currently have a light up in the front from home bargains and it only ever charges enough to work from about 5pm to 6pm lol. I'm not sure whether it's because of the positioning and it's not getting enough light or because it's a cheap one from home bargains so this would be much better
And THIS is a bargain???????
Pop into the local pound shop and get 37 £1 ones.
My one is about 5 years old and still working.
(OK not as bright as this offer - but 37 or 90 of then would be, and they last more than 1.5 hours).
I had to change the internal rechargeable battery a few years back and fitted a AAA one.

We can always argue between quality and quantity.
@Midnight.Tboy
Hi,
I think you are correct, looks like there are two models in the range, the one from lights.co.uk definitely says on box 220v - 240v.
Also says in discription it can wire to the grid.
Not too sure how different the mains is, must have a step down transformer, does mains power the light.
