Quite a lot of stuff has the pay monthly option for me, just a debit card on file.

Pretty much everything in this section shows it apart from TV's for some reason amazon.co.uk/Ama…031

Nothing for me.
Probably because I'm supposed to be a student and supposed to be broke
This should show the list of eligible products. I can’t see it though as my account isn’t eligible. Currently on a live chat with Amazon CS to see if it can be resolved. amazon.co.uk/b/?…031

It's not available for everyone
What purchases is it eligible for? Kind of opening themselves up for fraud aren't they?
Isn't this only for Amazon products? I've bought and Echo and the new Paperwhite using this method but have never seen it offered for other brands
Would be really useful to have a link to which products have this credit facility amazon!
I don't have the option too pay monthly ... i have been a customer for many years and order a lot including subscribe and save items ..

You have to have a credit card on file. I have seen the option on a few mobile phones i looked at, they will deactivate the phone if you default on payments, be careful buying used mobiles in the future lol.
with the example you gave, i had that option, but i have checked other products, there are no option for montly playments
I checked other products too, no option for me either, Prime member for years, order a lot! Credit card on file also

Any credit card. I only have a debit card on mine at the moment but it still offers me 5 months to pay, i guess i would have to put one on though to take up the offer.

Above the price, it says 5 monthly instalments or one off payment, then you choose which one.

Thanks a lot tv does not work for me, hope game consoles works as well.

I think they done this by price, anything over £400 gets the monthly installments

And for those who can't see it, maybe they are rolling it out slowly?

Strange only on certain accounts. I've been a member 11 years, spent god knows how much lol and no option for me.

thank you, you beat me to it.
yeah its not very every product, but plenty of mobile phones have it as examples. read the T&C's, its a really good offering tbh but not for everyone.
You don't need to be prime member either mine has expired.

Yeah it's a shame it doesn't work with TV's as i could see that being something i'd want to use it for if my current set died.

I'm not sure what the value limits are but it shows up just the same on a £50 Echo Dot as it does on an £1100 phone (most expensive i could find in the list) for me.
Heated. I really like this option, makes things that bit more manageable paying for more expensive items and you don't have to jump through the hoops of a traditional credit system like credit check, new application etc. This is a seamless part of the shopping experience, just how it should be done IMHO. I really hope they make it more widely available going forward.

Don't see it happening, but I wish they would offer it on Amazon Warehouse too, would make paying for those open box bargains that bit easier...
It's all rather random, I can only see it on mobile phones, I'm betting it's because that's what I've been searching for lately and this is them making me pull the trigger.
Nothing for me.

I thought it was, I used it when I got my 6t.
Noticed this a few days ago. I was looking at way out of my price range camera lenses and the option to pay in installments was there. I'm not a prime member either.

No credit card? Strange it says in terms and conditions must have one on file?
I'm a Prime member and I see the option on certain items. I haven't noticed it before so must be a new thing. Could be interesting this Black Friday, but I don't think my wife will be happy 😁
Offering me mobiles etc , up front 1 payment, 5 payments over 6 months, 0% with Debit Card, cracking find... OP 6T incoming, along with a slap from her indoors!
Getting option on mobiles and eye wateringly expensive laptops - noticed for first time last week. Will definitely use in on Black Friday if that's an option then.
I can see some serious tech shopping happening on here lol

have you got link to t&c
I do not see it on that mobile, but did get one of the echos using this recently when they had them for £60 or 5 x £12 monthly payments.
Only seeing it on certain items, like phones only offering it on certain colours, can't get 6 months on the black, blue or white, but you can get it on Gold or Rose Gold colours, which are far too garish for boring old me. lol

i think it depends on what seller it is and what offering, i.e. brand new or used
Looking to see what John Lewis do- 24 months interest free on selected tellies. Looking at a 65 inch LG at £1,099, or £37.50 a month
