Im sorry if people already know this but I didn't and if this helps someone then great.

I like amazon prime especially with free next day delivery and unlimited Prime video etc, but I felt £80 fee being paid upfront is a little much and I would rather pay monthly .

I was just on my amazon account sorting out xmas prezzies and noticed you can now do amazon prime per month at a cost of £7.99. I know this works out more expensive that the annual fee it does make it a lot more manageable and you get the same benefits plus your not stuck for whole year as you can cancel any time.

I hope this helps some people and if this is really old news im sorry

This is what you get

Thanks!
Next day delivery can be £7.99 (depending on the item bought) and it is free for Prime members, so if you need something urgently it would be worth signing up for a month.
New Amazon account each month, using the "+" trick with a gmail address is doing the trick for me currently, just keep using the free trials.

Steady on miikey What "+" trick? I've almost exhausted all my options with the "." trick, same setup?

(not for Amazon btw :D)
thanks to who ever moved this to deals and added to picture
Nice, ViperKeith does it again!

I did not know that, just tried it and it works, amazing.
Thanks! This is especially useful when waiting for Amazon to do a special offer on the annual membership. Hopefully they offer a discount on black friday (_;)

Well johnsmith@gmail.com = johnsmith+1@gmail.com = johnsmith+spam@gmail.com = johnsmith+anythingreally@gmail.com It's useful for making filters but not all websites accept the "+" in the address.

Yup, just the same! mikkeyblue+amazon, miikeyblue+amazon1 etc...
Thanks Keith I didn't know this about prime.

To those who are using prime several times by adding full stops in your gmail, will amazon not notice that the same home address is being used several times?
I didn't know this either. Handy to know for when I am more likely to need it in december. Thankyou
Awesome

I'm a bit confused by this. Imagine my email is joebloggs@gmail.com, is there not a good chance there is also a joe.bloggs@gmail.com? Or has gmail always removed .s when checking uniqueness?

Maybe eventually, yea...

Then I start shipping stuff to my mum's house

They will if people keep bragging about it on a public website
Sorry if I sound stupid but what is the full stop trick with gmail what do I have to do exactly?
Cannot see the option to pay monthly anywhere on Amazon?
can't see the monthly option, only been offered £79

I don't see how they could, encryption of account details means that it's not easy to compare customers data. It'll have to be a manual trawling of the millions of accounts they have.

Quite handy, sign up on November 23rd, get all shopping done by Dec 23rd for Christmas. Result.

Although to be honest Amazon usually want to offer a free prime trial around one a year so i just wait until i'm doing my Christmas shopping to use it.

Lol, how naive about how megacorps work. Every Amazon account that has used the same credit card is linked and can be found within seconds.

Can people please shut up talking about the email trick....idiots.

Why shut up about it, if it helps others?

I realise it's going to be stopped eventually. It's probably already in the pipeline. Talking about it here won't make a drop of difference, and if it can save people a few quid before xmas, I'm happy to share it.
I didn't know this, thanks for the info!
Some sites (apparently not Amazon) don't allow "+" characters in email addresses, so that trick doesn't always work.

Abusing the system must be so much fun for you.

Fun? Nah, I get my kicks elsewhere. But this does save me money.
Thank you OP. I have just finished a free trial and thought the service was great but couldn't justify £79 when I probably wouldn't use it enough.
This is great though and will really help in the run up to Christmas ☺

So when the charge for Amazon Prime rises
we will know why. Fiddler.

Yes, it will be ALL my fault... nothing to do with the many who try to hide that they do it in the hope that it goes under the radar and they can abuse it for longer.
Temp on this is spiking like crazy yet I still can't find this deal anywhere on the Amazon site? Are people voting heat for a deal they hope is true instead of actually checking it out?
All the people scrounging free trials.. Jeez just pay for it...

Going to be the minority who ruin it as always and this monthly option will be removed.
