Amazon UK have reduced the standard Kindle to £59.99 but you can get it for £49.99 if you are a Prime customer and are in a Prime Now delivery area. Sorry it's a bit niche but I imagine populous parts of the UK should be covered by Now now?!

If you're not a Prime customer you probably know someone who is or can sign up for a free trial using a new account etc.

Same sort of deal for Kindle Paperwhite - reduced to £99.99 but further reduced to £89.99 with code (RRP £119.99).

The code can be used on any order of £50 or over.

Doesn't look like you can get any double discount but the £10 off would still apply
NOW10 didn’t work for me but WELCOME10 did, was my first order.
NOW10 is an ancient recurring code for new accounts only.

Nope, I am not a new customer and it works from me
Doesn't work for me as I've used this code before. It's been reoccuring for a year or so at least. Good for those who can get it and haven't used before though!
I don't need one, but I've just noticed online on my Halifax account they have cashback of 5% on purchases from Amazon Prime. so might be worth activating and trying this.
Just logged in to my Prime Now and it's giving the option of using BACK10 for the same £10 off over £50 spend, I used one of the other codes a couple of months ago so may be worth trying that

Is this likely to be included in the upcoming prime event they have every year? No codes working for me!
Might be worth having a moan via chat as they have just told me there was a problem with the code and they have credited me with £10 towards my order.
what on earth is prime now?
Doesn’t work for me

Shopping like groceries etc

oh it's the food shop thing! my bad :P
Great deal if it works – really pleased with the latest gen Paperwhite. Smallish improvements but adds up to it feeling much nicer, especially with the lack of ridge around the screen. Adjustable backlight colour temperature would be the one upgrade I'd like.

It's not really just food - I've ordered other things like phones, games, and a cool bag (I needed it first thing in the morning and ordered at 10pm). So it's food plus other bits, not everything, probably just things at the closest warehouse to your crib.

Not just food, lots of stuff, subject to a min order value off £20 and delivered within the next 2 hours (sometimes 1).
I'm not a new customer and have used a £10 off code before, but the offer us there for me. I suspect it's account specific for those that haven't used PrimeNow in a while

Depends if your eyes are open or closed
Brilliant, Paperwhite has £20 of as well £99 or £109, spot on
Ordered for the wife. She wanted a white one, told her that was a mistake but she insisted. Whatever

Yep, both the normal and the Paperwhite are great to read in the sun as the screen is matte rather than reflective. Not too far off reading a real book IMO. Paperwhite has a backlight so you can read it in darker environments without a light – it's not the same as staring at a laptop/phone due to the way it is lit, and doesn't affect my sleep or anything. For me Paperwhite was worth it as I read in bed/with dimmed lights in the evening mainly.
Hi - looks like WELCOME10 working for me. I tempted to go for Kindle Paperwhite at £89.99 but may wait for prime day. Anyone have any idea if will be cheaper then?

Just bought one - code worked. Decided worth it with all the discounts paying the extra for paperwhite. Many thanks for posting.

I received my all new kindle 2019 yesterday which I paid £69.99, the price dropped to £59.99 today so they credited me £10 on live chat, now Ive ordered it for £49.99 from amazon prime now. They wouldn’t credit the cost difference so got to send back the £59.99 and I will just keep the one that comes in two hours for £49.99.

Just ordered a kindle Paperwhite for £90. I've been waiting for a chance to get it at this price for ages!
I have never understood the point of these buy a cheap Android tablet and install kindle, then u still get a benefits of tablet.
I doubt we will ever get it here

I have both. I would never read a book on a tablet - with the exception of recipes (cos I like the pictures!). Reading in bed at night time on a Kindle Paperwhite is actually a preferable experience to reading a 'real' book - reading on a tablet not so.
How do you get this price if Amazon Now says you aren't in one of the service area cities?
Tried the Amazon Now app and that's what I got.
Doesn't work for me... but I have used it some time ago to buy a fitbit Versa for my wife so not complaining.
I can just imagine that if it would work in two hours I would own two kindles.
OK got it, this should've been posted as a local deal - specific locations only.
Done, worked for me. Ordered at 5PM delivered 6.30PM. Heat
NOW10 is probably account specific. I'm a long-time Prime member and have used the NOW10 code before but when I logged into my account the other day it told me that I could use it again.
worked for me. Thanks!

E-ink readers are easier on the eyes, usually lighter, longer battery charge.
A great thing to have then there's no extra space while traveling, but want to have more books.
