They've put the price back up now!

If you didnt want it over the last week why would you want it the day it goes back up.

Still have what?

Reminds me of when 3D TVs came out. Was great at first then became just another gimmick.

I love my 3D tv and so do my friends and family who come round to enjoy the experience. So many blockbusters now target a 3D audience in the cinema. I can view at home.

Reminds me of the O2 Joggler........wasn't a bad item until O2 pulled the support then it just became an expensive clock

retailers monitor this site, so deals like this disappear almost instantly

Glad someone makes use of it as cost a lot in R&D. Everyone I know with one doesn't use that feature. Active 3D is better but glasses need charging, glasses are generally not comfortable especially for a couple of hours, only select movies available, causes eye strain during prolonged use, particularly uncomfortable for those who prescription glasses, dimmed screen and less clear picture when in 3D mode, I could go on...

Are you speaking from personal exerience? I bought an L.G. after a lot of research and feel the passive far outweighed the active in most every department. Glasses a pound a pair, lightweight and I have only received positive and very impressed comments from those who come around on a fairly regular basis to watch a 3D film.We have the advantage of all the home comforts, dont have to be distracted by the idiots in the cinema with phones etc and can pause the film for a comfort break if wanted. All good. However it is now old hat as we will all be getting our new 'Holographic projectors/ head sets for the next stage in development.

I was after another dot, purchased my first dot but opted for no rush - didn't want to purchase a second until I heard the quality of built in speaker. I have the echo (purchased at launch at £100) which now controls my heating, lighting, plugs and wanted to expand it outside of the lounge. Guess I'll wait until they roll it out to another country to get them cheap now.

That cos there is new model coming soon, it would be stupid to buy one now.

Mixed reviews will be down to Amazon not releasing many Skills (Apps) for the UK device which are working perfectly well in US. The new dot is a new device to the echo and apparently hears better. I can now turn off connected lights rather than walking around the house every hour after the kids/wife leaving everything on. We control temperature of the heating through it rather than pulling out phones and hunting for the app etc. Alexa reads to my son at night which sends him to sleep a lot quicker than watching television. Stick to the dot over the echo - or wait and see what the Google alternative will bring, would prefer Google as the search facilty uses Bing on Alexa.
