White version is even cheaper - £7.91

Have one for Nintendo Switch & it's great. Better than official licensed one from Hori and much cheaper

It's pants that the dock doesn't have an actual ethernet port itself, and that the wifi in the Switch is pretty rubbish, but heat for the deal and product.

I have the same one, purchased for around £10 when Splatoon 2 came out.

Yeah I totally agree with you mate. I was holding out for this as I don't exactly need one at the moment but I literally saw this 15-20 minutes ago so i bit as it's a good price 😏

For people not aware.. You can also use Usb to RJ45 if you dont have a spare cable floating around.

I have been researching which adaptors are compatible and unless the adapter has a AX88179 chipset then apparently it does not work with the switch dock.

Thanks op, wasn't aware that these left prototype and that they've done them with mini usb too!

The dock doesn't have an Ethernet port. If you want LAN you will need either a USB to Ethernet adapter or USB to RJ45.

Wireless isn't that bad, its equivalent to an IPad Air 2 for range. Stock routers aren't the greatest anyway.

Don't be worried the Switch is a great console, if your into the exclusives. I paid retail on day one and don't regret it at all.

Wife is paying £300 just to get Rocket League off the tv, tbh.
Xbox registering 20ping, hoping for similar with Switch.

And she's buying you a device that you can now take to the Mother-In-Laws so you don't even have to communicate. What a woman!

I fancy RL on the Switch but I'm going to find it hard starting fresh. Wish you could keep the same account.

Will those USB to RJ45 adapters work with a Windows 10 tablet to provide a wired network connection? It mentions Cisco console routers etc, just want to be certain before I shell out, already have a USB network adapter for my Switch.

Would this work for a Raspberry Pi to a monitor usb. So only monitor cable needed to power Rasp Pi.
