I guess I shouldn’t expect it to work with Google Assistant.
I've had a Echo since they where released and also have 2 Dots and been a Prime member for years but the code doesn't work for me.
It's a shame Amazon started producing these. It means superior products are no longer being discounted or bundled with the Echo products
Originally ordered (and then cancelled) last time this was posted but was alarmed with the reviews regarding burned sockets

Disappointed not working, would have ordered the light kit.
Not for me. Wouldn't mind another one, but not for £25!

I'm not sure what the selection criteria is. It was just on the app's homepage for me.

Yes this are Echo devices specific so won't work for Google Assistant.

Follow the link underneath the get deal and it takes you to the offer. Use smartplug code and it reduces to9.99. Just ordered mine thanka
Setting a schedule on these is not as easy on the TP link plugs they used to also reduce when purchased with echo/dot.

Not working for me
Great price. Does this smart plug also monitor energy consumption?
code not working for me, either in app or website.
Oh well.

I have a tp-link one for the living room lamp (was £10 with an echo), and that works flawlessly and instantly, so probably recommend that one anyway
Worked for me, sorry guys!

Same, I have the original large echo, 4 dots, an input and a plug but not available for me either. An assistant through their chat wouldn't apply either!
Worked for me!!!
We buy half our life off amazon and code doesn’t work for me.
Didn't work for me. I only tried the smartplug one though.
Didn't work for me. But went to their chat support and sent them the link in the OP, I ordered at full price and they credited me the difference.

Hopefully means if I do become subject to the offer in the future I can use the code

Same for me
How do you get one of these plugs to say stay on for 30 minutes? Short of setting a reminder to tell you to turn if off after 30 minutes...........
Account specific. Doesn't work for me, even after years of being a loyal Amazon customer with multiple Alexa-enabled devices
Still, heat added as this is a great offer for those that can claim it.

Don't understand for those that really want one while they're posting frustrations here (given the OP even suggests it account specific) when they could be spending time getting what they wanted via chat:

Bought just coz the discount and app it just select account. Thanks OP.
It's work for me lower key when typing in

LMAO i just tried and it worked, thanks.
Ordered one on my account and one on my wifes account. We've both ordered echo devices in the last few months so maybe that's why we're eligible?

Tempted. I have the offer. But frankly it wouldn’t do anything I can’t already do much more cheaply and simply with a remote control socket.

So I’m out.

Set a schedule. Although not as straight forward as really it should be.
Doesn't work with anything other than alexa/amazon products (so no IFTTT, google, controlling it through logitech harmony, etc), and plenty of amazon reviews saying it sparks and then fails...
Must your Echo devices be connected to the same (2.4ghz) network as any smart plugs you want to control...
Not working for me either.

Set a schedule. Although not as straight forward as really it should be.

If you cant find them, the Alexa app calls them routines. I haven't even done one with a time delay in but switching on and off at a set time works perfectly.

Edit: just checked and their is a wait action. So you add a new routine, add action switch on, wait 30 mins, switch off.
