The standard sub £50 playstation headset deal!
Ordered thanks
Was this not £30 a few days ago?
Could have swore it said £40 a minute ago. Are these any good? Possible birthday present for my brother who's asked for a ps4 as his main present. I use an astro mix amp and some decent sennheisers myself, are these up to much?
They're decent. The ear material has started coming off on mine. It looks awful now after two years use. Wouldn't buy again tbh. They're comfortable tho.

Very good headphones designed specifically for PS4. So can download audio bits for games. Really allows you to distinguish where noises are coming from in FPS etc. I'm converted

You get what you pay for: tat.
How do these hold up in sound quality? I tend to watch more movies than play games. It needs good bass for starters..

J166A sums it up. They’re not great sounding. I’ve bought them twice and returned them. So many people swear by them but there’s no substance to the sound and it all sounds a bit hollow and empty. Second time was because of so many people recomending then I figured I was too harsh but they’re really just not that good.

I’d like to try the platinum pair but I’m sure they probably don’t sound much better.

What would you recommend then? The hyper x? A turtle beach? Looking around the £50 mark for my brother. He'll mainly play cod but if they're comfy and decent, they will get used for the odd movie and Netflix binge etc. Preferably wireless for convenience and decent build as he's a klutz and adept at destroying things.
