Bit of a con though really. We have vitamins for our son on s&s , last price was £11.80 for 3 bottled.

They have now put the price up to £19.47 so with the 25% off it's £14.85 which is a lot more

Monthly but if you don’t have any subscriptions atm then they will be sent ASAP and that’ll be you’re monthly delivery date for the next month
Has been 40% a few times in the recent past.

I believe that was only for new customers on their first subscription though. This is for existing

It was good when they allowed the 40% on multiple items. I stacked it with the 15% for 5 items so got 55% discount.

Then they restricted it to 1 item only. The 40% normally pops up around black friday.
So just to confirm, the extra 25% only applies to the next S&S delivery? And not any subsequent ones?

I don't use S&S at all so is there anything stopping me from subscribing to just get one delivery with the extra discount, then cancelling? If so, when is best to cancel? After delivery?

Yes discount only of the first order. The next ones will most likely be extortionate lol. Cancel the sub after it’s delivered.

Is there a list of items or groups of items that this offer applies to?
had offer last week for my first S&S order (oral b brush heads at £18 for 8 so a decent saving but set up for a 6monthly subscription so will cancel future order soon) - thought it was a standard offer for first S&S order

I’ve always contacted customer service if the price has been a huge increase. I’m talking over a few months though. So if it’s been 11.80 for 5/6 months then jumps up to 19.47 for 1 month they’re pretty good at sorting it. I’ve been doing it for years.

Very unfair opinion, it's not a con, that's the market ups and downs, it's normal. I'm saving a lot on S&S, it's a fantastic option from Amazon but as always, it needed to be well known, tested and understood.

Of course it's a con,it was an increase of 60% within 2 weeks, does that sound normal to you?

We're on about kids vitamins, not some sought after rare commodity.

I completely understand fluctuations of prices and accept them, not to that extent though.

And if you think those prices are normal then I feel like you might not be saving as much as you think as you won't be looking around.
