dam i am holding out for a polaroid tv

You're best waiting for black Friday, camping outside ASDA overnight, then when the store opens kick and punch as many people as you can to get to the Polaroids first.

I did actually order a 50" Tv from amazon warehouse last week to get me by till Black Friday or the sales as our old TV was irreparable from currys so as not under warranty only offered partial refund.

Anyhow opened the box and someone had returned it with their old 5 yr 32" tv inside inc stand and remote. Amazon then did not check and sent it straight out to me.

Went crazy on the phone and got full refund plus £60 compensation.

So now on the look out of another TV

I swear by Amazon Warehouse, used and open box generally means IMO a customer has bought an item (new), opened and thought "na" and returned it. I've saved £100's over the years with this service. Worst case scenario is you're not happy, just use the free 30 day return for full refund, no harm done.
I once bought an LG TV that was just over £90 cheaper than new because it was missing "accessories", turns out it was missing 3 screws to fix the stand to the TV, nipped out to the garage, 3 screws, job done.

I seriously considered getting a part time job at my local warehouse as it would be like going to the gym but getting paid for it.

Online Black Friday deals doesn't give the same rush as kicking people down for a £200 TV at the local Asda.

I also bought a gtx 780 graphics card a few months ago that was supposed to like new but it was well used and a customer return. It also didnt work. The returns process is good but for the small savings its not worth the gamble imho especially when its really second hand and most likely returned for a reason.

From my experience I totally disagree. I havent yet had a problem and usually end up with as new when it was described as good.Saved me a fortune. I will always look at the warehouse first then Amazon direct second.

There is no 'new design' of the PS4, just some minor tweaks internally that make it more energy efficiency, and run slightly quieter due less heat.

A word of advice on Amazon Warehouse deals and the 'factory sealed' … A word of advice on Amazon Warehouse deals and the 'factory sealed' thing. I brought a PS3 recently from Amazon Warehouse deals that was titled 'like new' and the description said 'factory sealed'. What came was a PS3 box without its outer sleeve and was resealed with sellotape. The PS3 inside had scuffs and the controller had chocolate on!I sent it back and asked for a replacement thinking 'surely, they've sent me the wrong item'... aaaaaaaaaand the same kind of thing came again. PS3 box missing the outer sleeve and resealed with sellotape. This one had a few light scratches and the controller had been used. Returned it again and gave up.

    Amazon don't replace Warehouse deals.

Thats not a fair comment. Amazons main site has frequent price fluctuations on NEW stock, warehouse items are discounted by a percentage of those prices. Therefore if the original Amazon NEW price increases, so to will the warehouse price. Decreases also happen the same way.

Also i had an item in my basket from the Warehouse, its price stayed the same when the 10% off deal kicked in, therefore ive genuinely saved 10%.

Asda are not taking part in black Friday, precisely because of the fiasco last year. Bit rich if you ask me as it was the parent company wallmart that brought the god awful thing here in the first place

I picked up an Xbox One with Kinect, Titanfall and AC4 on Tuesday for £196 after discount (was £218)
Condition was 'Good' so I was a bit sceptical, it came today and the box is a bit beaten up but everything inside is brand new, in all the bags with all the plastic covering still on etc. But, the games were missing, so I emailed them and they refunded me £40 (which is way more than the games are worth) So in the end I got a brand new Xbox One with Kinect for £156!

That reply you received would not have been from Amazon it would have been from a Marketplace seller. Looks like Amazon are selling it full price/new and also used as a warehouse deal. There are also multiple other sellers. Amazon are not a "trading store based in Manchester City Center".
