You've forgotten that the refurb Voyage would also be eligible for 20% off, bringing the price down to £80. You're actually spending at least £60 extra for the refurb Oasis, even after buying the origami case for the Voyage.
The £100 I mentioned did include the 20% off
I bought a refurb Kindle Voyage for £78 with the 20% discount so I assumed you'd had the same deal
Never saw that but I wish I did...
Hi
no leather cover in mine - have emailed Amazon as description clearly says with black leather case for the item I ordered
what i don't understand a new device cost £269.00 with the case
and this was sold as used wthout the case for 171.06£ adding the £79.99 working out around 251.00 so not a massive saving. its only fair they cover the cost of the case or provide the case as advertised.
i do like the device, but one thing i prefer on my voyage is the adaptive lighting... im sure they could introduce that via software.
I really love the Oasis so far, it's removed every single complaint I had about the Voyage (couldn't really read one-handed, pages didn't always turn when I pressed the buttons, sometimes loaded slowly). I never found the adaptive lighting to work well for me to begin with and always ended up manually adjusting, so the lack of has not been a concern.
Thanks again to the OP for catching the offer, I couldn't be happier!
Edit: Didn't realise I had two accounts! I'm the same as erica77.
It's because the Oasis has a new power saving features so it uses less battery when it's sleeping
