There seem to be a batch of 'Used - Very Good' which in my experience are normally perfect hardware, just damage to the box (or the box missing).

These are normally £260+, so not a bad saving...
Not expecting this to get Hot, but might help out a couple of you if you were looking for one of these and save a little.

Note - as with all Amazon Warehouse deals, you don't get the full warranty, only 30 days. But these things are tanks and should last you a few years, easy...

Logitech Harmony Elite Universal Remote control with Hub
- For seamless control of up to 15 home entertainment and connected home devices
- Power up your system and switch between activities with one button press
- Control devices inside closed cabinets, through walls, and even when you're away from home
- Control devices according to schedules or sensors
- IR and BT support

Not enough of a saving to make up for losing 11 months of warranty.
A remote half if not more than half as expensive as the product it's intended to control?
Sounds like there's one on offer here and it does actually have marks so it's not a case of just a damaged box:

Taken from Amazon details
"Item will come repackaged. Small cosmetic imperfection (less than 2.5cm x 2.5cm) on front of item. Small cosmetic imperfection (less than 2.5cm x 2.5cm) on top of item. Small cosmetic imperfection (less than 2.5cm x 2.5cm) on sides of item. Small cosmetic imperfection (less than 2cm x 2cm) on bottom of item. Small cosmetic imperfection (less than 2.5cm x 2.5cm) on back of item. Small (less than 2.5cm x 2.5cm) cosmetic imperfection on the interior of item. All purchases eligible for Amazon customer service and a 30-day Warranty"

Rather buy new myself on that basis

If the value of all your equipment is less than £500, I doubt very much you need this remote anyway...

But some of us use AV amps, have the TV, multiple players, Sonos, remote lighting, TiVo, consoles and Bluray players. Then this is a god-send.

Agreed.

There were 5 that had no marks for the same price, which is why I posted - but they've literally all gone in the past 5 minutes!

Your heads up certainly did its job then!

Indeed!
I'll expire this, then.

Maybe I'm just lucky with my choice if components but all my system works really well with HMDI CEC, I can even switch the PS4 on via the TV's CEC something the Harmony cant

This one can - it's got Bluetooth control too.
But yes, you are lucky.
I control my Raspberry Pi via HDMI-CEC, but none of my other components seem to react.

No body needs this remote. They might want it, but most certainly do not need it

That's a PS3 your thinking about, the PS4 can only be started via a controller or the official PS4 media remote (and even says this on the Harmony comparability page) , maybe because my TV is Sony.
Plus I have all what you mentioned apart from the light (I'm not lazy enough to get off my ass and turn off the switch yet) I'm happy with a few remotes
Shockingly expensive!

With a Logitech product I wouldn't worry about warranty length. My almost 3 year old harmony touch was recently replaced by Logitech for an ultimate one as It had developed backlight whine. No questions asked other than what is the fault.

having used harmony remotes for a few years now I'd never go back to multi remote he'll. hot having to try and explain to people the exact sequence needed to get everything working is worth it in itself
