One additional question guys - it says these headphones are optimised for Apple devices, however on this link:

amazon.co.uk/Bos…h=1

We can see that on Amazon UK, there is also available an "Android" optimised version. Exactly how much optimised/limited are the Apple versions? I have an Android phone so would be expecting to use them on here.

What's the price delivered to the UK? Is it still 152 if delivery is included?

It might be a concern if you're buying EZ1002, but at this price and this early in HDR development it's too early to be worrying about those sorts of things.

Yeah, at this time of year they're near their minimum price and not out of stock. They'll go slightly cheaper when discontinued in a few months in favour of the 2018 revisions but availability is much patchier.

The major difference I can see is that the P607 supports Dolby Vision HDR and the the P6046 does not, which is a shame. Also P607 runs Roku TV smart platform and P6046 runs android TV. Absolutely not, unless you can chore a couple of cases with UK inlays off their shelves to whack the discs in they won’t be interested. I know this from personal experience having lived in Austria for a few years I got quite a few German speaking world releases and found you’re far better off eBay/Shpock/Gumtree’ing them.

They are angst ridden about their Nazi past - which was truly horrific - but they are in complete denial about, and submissive to, an ideology amongst them that is equally as evil.

I really not got a clue but an educated guess says no because I believe the actual game content on the disc would be censored at source, I’m not tech savvy enough to give you a definitive answer but I’d say the German licensing board would make sure it’s locked down.

Lived there when I was younger too so ditto everything you just said about Germany’s current political climate, the fact that Mutti Merkel is allegedly a Conservative tells you all you need to know about how far the country has lurched to some sort of totalitarian liberalism.

Though clearly relevant to featured products in thread all that stuff ain’t really for here otherwise I’ll just get myself in to more rows with someone or other as per usual

Before removing your original drive, you will need to create a bootable …Before removing your original drive, you will need to create a bootable Windows 10 usb. Since the arrival of Windows 10, Microsoft has provided a tool just for this. Essentially, the tool downloads Windows 10 image, formats a USB stick so its bootable, and copies the image to the stick. Once done, you can replace the drive with the new drive, insert the USB stick, and the laptop 'should' boot into Windows Setup. I said 'should', because on rare occasions, you need to tell your laptop which boot device to boot from (e.g. hdd, sdd, cd-rom, usb, etc.). Note: Don't forget to have your Windows key to hand before replacing your drive. If you don't have it (e.g. label on the back of the laptop or box), then you can extract it from your current Windows 10 drive. More info here.[Video]

Tube rides became much less painful cause I could barely hear a thing from the Beats Solo 2 with all the noises.

Bought some Bose QC35's but they gave me a headache after 15 minutes. Bought the Sennheisers too and much prefer them. After comparing both side by side, I was surprised how small the difference in sound quality was. The Bose were slightly better, but it wasn't noticeable at all. Also no lag when video editing, which is what I use them for, whereas there was a 0.5 second lag between the video playing and the sound coming through the headphones, making the Bose useless for me.

Oh can you? I never knew that! Thought you had to re-pair for each device …Oh can you? I never knew that! Thought you had to re-pair for each device you connected them to. Could I for instance pair with my laptop and phone, laptop takes music duties most of the time while phone is around for calls, then when I'm away from a desk have a phone supply music and calls?

The way they instructions explain it, is it's only two phones you can use - one for calls, one for music. not entirely sure how useful that is to be honest. Bluetooth pairing could be better in general though eg. if I wish to listen to music on my iPhone after listening to music on my Mac, then I have to disconnect before the other connects unlike something like AirPods, which automatically disconnects and connects.

I believe it is related to the different bluetooth protocols - voice and music use different bands?

Please be aware that most SFF PC's on the used market worth their salt in price to performance likely have an ageing 240w PSU that is proprietary. As great as this GPU is, even if you saved power by replacing the one HDD with a larger SSD (which wouldn't really make sense for price window you'd be looking to spend here) you'd be pushing an already weak PSU to it's absolute limits.

I'm not saying it won't work, simply that I wouldn't recommend this if Russian Roulette isn't your kinda bag.

Personally for this kind of machine I'd recommend picking up a GT1030 (less than half the power draw) for about £65, a 19" 900p monitor and a 120gb SSD to upgrade a used SFF PC picked up from eBay. If you get a good deal on one that has an Ivy Bridge or Haswell i5 (I managed to pick up 2 i5 4570 based SFF machines recently for about £105 each, delivered) you should have a decent machine for playing on high settings on modern-ish titles at the native res on the monitor.

The GTA V canned benchmark on one of said machines outlined in my example ran with everything on high 900p at between 65 - 105fps, mostly sitting in the mid-high 70's.

There's a lot of fun to be had at console prices on the used market if you do your research and have a little patience

Indeed, the whole PC cost only £105 after postage, and this will make it in to a great little gaming PC for an 11 year old. The best bit about the PC part was it has a 1.5TB hard drive, and a full Windows 10 license. Just picked up a cheap 128GB SSD, and this card to finish the build.

If you think this is amazing wait until you try a proper VR system.

And play one of the million wave shooters...

Yes, I started on PSVR and the experience made me want a Vive... and yes I was blown away by the image quality, Room scale, precision etc...

I have not played anything on PC that beats Rush of Blood (a wave shooter which is a Steam staple).

I'll also go back to immersion.. When you move about with a headset and controllers you KNOW where you are, playing a cool game. On the PSVR in the seated games you can more easily get lost in world and forget.

Love the both, PSVR is great.

What is PT?

Playable Teaser. It was a demo for a new Silent Hill game but it was cancelled and the demo removed from the marketplace, completely. Such that you can not download it any more even if you purchased before (at least not without some work), if you previously bought it and still have it on your hard drive, you can still play though. No way to get it if you never bought it before though.

To be fair, you don't really need it, it is pretty cool, but if you look on Youtube for some videos, people have explored it to death. The 'playable' aspect is being able to walk around and look around at your own leisure really, there are no specific actions to do as such. Although how quickly you move and what you look at can affect what appears which is why people love it so much as you won't necessarily always see everything. But yeah, it has been played to death on Youtube and there are some 'complete' videos showing pretty much everything possible.

Wouldn't download for me. Great little game

There was a way to redownload it by changing your ip address. Think it still works. You do have to have downloaded it originally tho, no good for people to get it if didn't have it in first place.

Coil whine can vary from individual card to card. As for the fans ramping up, yes I agree that is something likely to happen in a small cramped case, but if you want a high end card you don't have many to chose from that will fit. I fixed up the 1070 version of this card for an acquaintance, replaced the thermal paste, and pads as he didn't want to return it, knocked about 8c off the fully loaded temps which we in the mid 70's.

I was hoping EVGA might do a mini 1080 but no such luck, as I'd like to try them in a test build I am doing, and need the 1080 for the compute side of things, but it needs to be short, as it's for a 10U flight rack case.

Really good price £450 on Amazon uk

Ohh and it comes with international warranty.

Mine came today and was fitted with a 2 pin plug. I chopped it off and fitted a UK plug and everything works fantastic. Great machine.
I can confirm that cable does have the earth wire so it's all good

Did you buy insurance with it ?

Bought one

Cold! Bought one of these couple of years ago, the coffee is great but the milk frother is total rubbish! The whole machine electrics fried within a year... Exchanged for delonghi magnifica and have to say it's better by miles! May not look as good as this krups but it's far superior for the same kind of money.
