This is like the epitome of consumerist wastage culture.

Let's invent a product that is in fact harder to use than the cable that comes with the controller.

You can understand getting like a 4x joycon charger since charging multiple sets via the console isn't always practical, but this is pure tat for the sake of tat.
A bit off topic but that Switch controller they used for stock image looks filthy as hell. They could've cleaned it before hand...

I just came here to basically write the same thing.

This is a pointless product. You are way more likely to damage the controller's USB port ramming it onto this, than just using the provided cable.

Wast of plastic.

Obviously these are your opinions and are all well respected. I am personally standing exact opposite. I have many of these gadgets. In fact my PS4 is sitting on one. I hate cables hanging around. Have tried hiding all the cables in my room and these gadgets are the ultimate saviour for the issue.

I think at some point you're going to have to accept that your convenience and the sheer volume of waste it produces are going to come to a head, and the sooner you accept that the less jarring it's going to be for you.

As I mentioned I totally respect your opinion but that does mean I am going to think the same way as you do. If it is being produced, then there is demand for it which means I am also not the only one. You'd look at it at waste. That could be applied to any bits of electronics or appliances you have in your house. You just need to be "that" person to categorise what you don't appeal into the waste category.

I have to agree, the controller lasts about 40 hours too so it hardly ever needs charging.
Anyone have one of these?, are they easy to use or is it a pain to dock the controller to it?. I’ve been looking at the Nyko ones but those need an adaptor to use which is aesthetically unpleasant to me.

I love docks for my controllers, currently I have two Sony docks for four of my PS4 pads and my two Elite series 2 come with a neat little dock so it’s only my Switch Pro controller that is missing one

It’s so great knowing my controller will always be full charge and not having to mess about ever plugging the cable in or changing batteries, plus they look nice and neat which I also like.
