£2.50 a ream in Wilko recently and £2.75 a ream in Asda.

Both significantly cheaper.

It's getting chilly in here

sorry paid £15.99 back in July so this is way too high

Paper prices are rising (pulp costs are going up). This isn't a high grade paper but at that price delivered it's not a great deal, but also not a bad deal for an end consumer buying small quantities.
Commercially, a low grade A4 paper is around 1.71 per ream (exc VAT), to give you an idea on what businesses are paying - bulk quantities though..... not a box a time rate!
Better quality papers are between 2.10 per ream to 2.50 per ream

Either they should change the name 'basics' or should lower the price.

If you have access to Costco or the online ordering this is good

The paper is no different to that sold by supermarkets. You can get two reams for £5 in Tesco.

I use wilko paper. Seems to work fine for me.

£2.49 Argos i always get it from there.
I also got a 5 pack of canon on amazon the other day for £11.98. So this is cold.

Wilko user here, it has been £2.50 for over 2 years, and is no worse than HP branded paper costing 3 times as much.

This paper would be priced OK if 90g/m2 but only 80

-323degrees - Wow, it's not even that cold in deep space!
